@@johanponin1360 I sincerely disagree. I loved songs about Jane, but musically, it's just a watered down 4-or 6 chord version of Jamiroquai's album Traveling without moving, which has more musicality in its harmonies instrumentally.
MilesBellas You can tell this is a live performance compared to the one on the music video for example and in the 90s/2000s they allowed more live performances on Top of the Pops
One thing that I hate about most live performances is that they never sound like there from a studio recording and most of the times the singers never hit the right notes due to stress on their vocal chords (but that understandable), with this is mind this has got to be one of my favorite songs of all time due to the fact that even when their playing right in front of you they still manage to sound crisp and smooth as hell
I really feel like Automaton is a follow up to Virtual Insanity. Jay sings about how the future would be set up in this song, then Automaton is living in that digital world.
Funky! Can you imagine 10 years from now insane... I just stumbled upon this keep practicing practicing and more practicing! Keep up the good work baby girl
I know this track is not underrated due to it's promotion and video, but it is one of the best pop songs of all time. Nice to finally see Stu on these uploads. Again, the voice is effortless talent.
Crimea River it’s a reference to the anime called Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, where the bad guys are very noticeable but the main casts are too blind to see
Comment section is weird but let me tel you how confused i was walking into a coffee shop in korea after going to the immigration office for my visa. I was like “is this virtual insanity?” And the cashier heard me and replied “yes”
What a wonderful voice, Jay's voice is at the top here! I love this song so much, it came out the same year I was born 😊 keep going Jamiroquai, you guys are great!
I'd actually argue that only the vocals are live - I highly doubt Stu Zender would repeat "to the letter" his own bassline on the album when playing live - and this is 100% the same bassline as the album. Cheers
Nothing is miced up and no amps are turned on XD and there is reverb on the cymbals on the drums which would be achieved by micing up the kit. The only thing with human errors is vocals XD Gotta love Top of the pops
TOTP's policy was either mime or sing to a backing track or you aren't appearing on the show at all. That didn't go down to well with Nirvana so they decided to have fun on stage.
Mmmmmh.....I have my doubts... Like Nikola Tesla said: “Einstein's relativity work is a magnificent mathematical garb which fascinates, dazzles and makes people blind to the underlying errors. The theory is like a beggar clothed in purple whom ignorant people take for a king... its exponents are brilliant men but they are metaphysicists rather than scientists.”
@@nunomigueldamotapereiragon8203 It's a reference to Japanese manga "Jojo's Bizzare Advenutre:Stone Ocean" made by Hirohiko Araki where main villain Father Enrico Pucci was asking everyone:"Do you belive in gravity?" before he killed them, well it's bizzare that priest is killing people to get into heaven but it's called "Jojo's Bizzare Adventure".And well fans of that manga called this Jamiroquai song "Main theme" of Stone Ocean, and there's another fact one of the main characters called Domenico "Weather Report" Pucci has hat similiar to that Jay Kay wears .If You want to read more about this here's some pages about them Enrico Pucci: jojo.fandom.com/wiki/Enrico_Pucci Weather Report:jojo.fandom.com/wiki/Weather_Report
I'm 19 years old (borned in 1997)and a big fan of Jamiroquai now. When this song was sung , I wasn't borned!! So I was so surprised and thought this song was loved by everyone. This is greatest! I'll be a big fan of Jamiroquai!
Discovered Jami 95 when i was about 11 years old. Yep, feeling old now too :D But, a daily or weekly dose of Jamiroquai keeps you young n funky fresh :)
I was 9 yrs old when this song came out and it’s been one of my all tome favorites since. I remember thinking he was so cool, I couldn’t take it. Still one of my all time fav basslines
