I think 80hz would be appropriate. I had them set to 60 and they worked good.

@@Upscaled_Reviews Thank you for the quick reply! The only problem is the Onkyo is the only one you can't even preorder here in Italy 😥. The Yamaha is priced at around 800 € ( ~900$ ) while the Denon is almost 1400 € ( ~1600$ ), both on preorder only now.

I would say the Klipsch are still better for sure.

It should power them with no problem. They're pretty efficient speakers.

@@Upscaled_Reviews I have a denon s760h receiver and I like my Polk t50 but heard the Jamo s809 are more lively and sound better

@@Mjaybird They're definitely a more premium speaker and you can get the whole set of 5 speakers for $400 on adorama.

@@Mjaybird I completely understand but I think just the towers alone cost the same or about the same. Might as well get the package and sell the bookshelves and the center.

I would say you probably don’t need the 809s but if the premium to get the 809s isn’t much I would go for them.

That's a really tough choice. I haven't heard the emotivas but I heard they're really good. I'm also a fan of folded ribbon tweeters giveb that I own GoldenEar speakers. I would say go with the emotivas but be weary that they're a 4ohm speaker and you'll need an amp that can handle 4ohm loads.

No to keep bothering you about speakers just wanted to pick your brain one more time. I also have my eye on the jbl stage 170 . Since the emotive went up $100 I’m kinda stepping back from them now. So which of those you think would be the better sound and built quality? Thanks

I think it really can’t be beat honestly. That’s bookshelf speaker pricing.

These are passive speakers. You need speaker wire and some kind of amplifier to power them. Any av receiver would work nicely.

@@therockakaada6109 Honestly any receiver from a good brand would drive them well.

I understand what you're saying but there are some limitations to how successfully that can be done. For one, the quality of the microphone recording the speakers, then you have the quality of the device where you're watching the video (Most likely a phone), and finally you have RU-vid's video and audio compression. Creators also stay away from this because music that anyone would want to listen to is copyrighted, which would cause the video to be demonetized. This leaves only copyright free tracks most likely provided by RU-vid. I'll do some experimenting on my end to see if I can come up with a solution. Crutchfield actually implemented a program called SpeakerCompare which is a "Patented Virtual Audio™ technology for auditioning speakers online." You can't hear how a speaker sounds or see how a display looks by watching a video.
