"There is a junction between Kargil and Drass named Thanda Mold. From the Kargil side, it's 8 km to Drass. It's a challenging road with steep inclines and declines. We started from Kargil at 9 o'clock. We noticed light snow on the road, prompting us to slow down to 20 km/h. I saw a Scorpio skidding before my car and despite our efforts to slow down, the slippery road caused my car to skid, resulting in a minor impact on the iron guard of the road. I'm thankful everyone is safe. Considering the potential dangers, it's my humble request to concern authorities in the administration, public representatives, and officials of BRO and NHIDCL to make the road safer perhaps with tunnels, to ensure the safety of thousands of people."
