Homersapa, thank you so much for this amazing clip from a wonderful documentary of my favourite pianist! 3:27 (translated) : "When you think about it, his music is really good. Furthermore, you can let it sink in and add: It's f*cking good (laughter)".
Unfortunately, we have been reduced to such a state that we must laugh it out when we can't express our thoughts (which is the best option in this context, but still). A dreamlike performance...right before awakening, allowing you to recall it throughout the day.
Ok. I find this clip the essence of music. And essence of religions. This guy takes a piano and creates, just by playing it, a feeling of…total awareness. Completeness. I guess I should state something like ‘I have never felt so emotional as when I heard this the first time’. But honestly? I have heard this tune hundreds and hundreds of times and my reaction is still as emotional as the audience in this video. This tune is a proof of music being the voice of God and I agree with the ancient Greeks who’d in accordance to Homer would have stated: Jan is a son of God. That is the only true answer.
Jag brukar nog använda ordet "vackert" när jag upplever något tilltalande som också rör mig. Jag tycker det är underligt att ingen av människorna i videon ens yttrade ordet.
