In my 40 years of wine consumption my best wines were Petrus 1949 and Cheval Blanc 1950. Difficult to say which one was the best wine. They were both awesome.
Chateau Pichon Lalande 1990, Volnay Caillerets 2009 from Christophe Vaudoisey, Chateau Pichon Baron 2016 at the Chateau. I still have a bit of each in the cellar. NV Berry Brother’s Twenty Year Old Tawny, made by Noval, absolutely ravishing.
