@@ShowtimeAtWaco That was just one of the most dumbest things ever. They just randomly stopped like Nintendo stopped placing end labels on game cartridges. They didn't even explain why they stopped making them, no note, no notice if the actor got tired of the role and moved on, nothing.

Emma is far from my favorite Austen novel (pride and prejudice or northanger abbey... ooh next Austen round do Northanger) but I love that she different from the other JA heroines as easily the most childish and has one of the most complete arcs for self revelation

Emma getting chastised by Mr. Knightly for her nasty remarks to Miss Bates is one of the hottest moments ever (I especially love the Gwyneth Paltrow/Jeremy Northam version of that scene but all of them are lovely). Emma deserves the (light) scolding, and the fact it hurts Knightly to correct her even though she deserves it is just beautiful.

I'd recommend 'a night of series drinking' by rene daumal "I KNOW EVERYTHING, BUT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANY OF IT" Rene also wrote the book "mount analogue" (his final book) which is very similar to the show 'lost'. Also a director called Alejandro Jodorowsky adapted the book into 'the holy mountain', Also without Alejandro jodorowsky we wouldn't have alien and Star Wars.

I was only two minutes in when I started saying to myself "This is just Clueless..all of this is the plot of Clueless!" How interesting that a movie set in modern day Beverly Hills is a better representation of the book than the book's actual movie adaptation.
