She has aged so beautifuly. It gives me optimisim knowing that if we try, we don't have to turn ugly when we get old. She has that spirit in her , always did, and the body will follow the spirit no matter what.

She said that when she left gainsbourg he was the first surprised, but when she said she was pregnant with her second girl, he wanted to be the godfather and took care of her by writing more songs for her. She idn't mention WHY she left him if that's what you'd like to know.

JANE BIRKIN "the dream in the drawer" and in the THOUGHTS of all the boys of that time: her very sweet and sensual voice given to us when in 1969 she imprinted on vinyl the few phrases of the song JE T'AIME ... she made the world fall in love whole and not just the male one. She had CHARM and possessed a NIGHTMARE BEAUTY!!! She was also a successful woman in the arts for a good decade. I sincerely hope to be able to meet her BEAUTIFUL and HAPPY again in her new home and sing with her and endlessly a hymn that will vehemently make all the souls of heaven gasp: “JE T’AIME”…!!! 💔❤

Serge gainsbourg was a really wise man.Listen to his words closely and you will see of course he had a few problems but who doesn’t?Nobody is perfect, some people are not perfect and aren’t wise at the same time and serge was not perfect but atleast wise.He knew what he was talking about and you can see in his songs and on him that he went through a lot.

Ella fue muy conocida en el mundo hispano por el duo que hizo con el Sr. Serge Gainsbourg en la cancion "Yo te amo, yo tampoco" fue prohibida alla por 68' por el Papa Paulo VI por su fuerte contenido sexual , muy pocos fueron los suertudos que se compraron el disco, (entre ellos mi madre), creo que el Papa Paulo sufriria de un ataque al corazon si escuchara las canciones de hoy en dia, que son muy explicitas y vulgares en cuanto a su descripcion de realizar este dulce acto de amor, chau, chau.

i find you both are somehow right. i mean: he was great, insolent and in the last years too much full of himself. but jane still brights of a reflected light and singing is not really her stuff...but when she doesn't sing, then i like her!

Jane doesn't have a singer's voice but she can sing, she is more of a performer than a singer. I enjoy listening to her in some songs Serge Gainsbourgh wrote for her. She is as iconic as him. Together they formed a charismatic and unforgettable couple.

She appeared in the film Wonderwall and became one of the icons of the late hippy period, with the poster of the film becoming iconic. She also appeared in La Piscine with Alain Delon. I don't see a reason why you feel the need to disrespect a great actress and singer!
