Wow, @ 80, for Jane, I know Lilly is up there close, I saw her on stage at 76. What a power house for women and men, to go beyond age. Banter and play with each other. Lily is at 78 at this point. God bless them on their active attitude. If you have an older parent like I have, this is enjoying to watch. With a smile. The interviewer is doing a great job with the questions. Though I wish Lilly would Liily would keep her hand held mike close to her voice. I'm missing the one liners. Someone of this age, the should have thought of that. I'm starting to tremor now. its not fun, when others are watching. Eating in Public, of holding something. I don't know if that is the issue, but its for me, and I'm way younger. I see comments on looks, god bless them, Dolly and Cher do it. If it makes them feel good, go for for it. I think men and women are doing these types of things, they just don't relate. I didn't think I would have a tremor at my age, its embarrassing, when I'm in front of clients. I wish I had their skill set, at their age and grace. I'll go for smile and I see what I see. Especially when I see myself.!!

its January 20 and I've already binge watched season 4 twice which came out on my birthday. great birthday gift. now I'm rewatching all from season 1 through. can't believe I have to wait another year, wish the show came out with new episodes twice a year. each episode goes by too fast and before you know it the season is over. love these two ladies, great examples of how age is just a number and proof we can be vibrant and active as the years pass.

The interviewer has no facial expressing whatsoever, only the mouth moves .. how is that possible ?

I love it when Jane says, "I hate my effing life!" I ended up in a rehab center after being abused by a (female) family member and when I had recovered, I found that the rehab center was also a nursing home. Then, instead of helping you get your things and be able to move out, you have to get Medicaid in order to pay the bill, and Medicaid takes every cent you have, which in my case was a small teacher's annuity and social security. And, then, thanks to the most virulent ageism I ever imagined you are treated as if you're an idiot and not worth anything. Every time Jane says "I hate my effing life, I feel my situation is understood and felt by ONE person in the world. AND ONLY ONE PERSON. And this is the first place I've written about being in a nursing home, because I know that most people read that and assume you're senile or inept in some way. I thought I understood what ageism was and I paid attention to the way I looked at older people from the time I was in my 20's, but what I've experienced here from some of the most callous people I've ever encountered shows me that this country won't really see ageism clearly for another 40-50 years.

I can't believe how much life and wisdom these girls have =D when my grandparents hit seventies, they just stopped moving. they are amazing

My friend was sitting outside an airport in New Mexico and he looked up to see Jane Fonda walking toward him. He said he was shocked and asked her "Are you Jane Fonda?", but...he felt embarrassed that he had asked. He said she took her phone out and it was dead, so...he told her she could use his. She needed to call her driver. He took a selfie with her and she looked good. He said she was very nice and didn't look her age. I bet he still has that number on his phone...haha I don't know if she still does, but... at that time, she had a home in New Mexico.

This was a great interview, really enjoyed it.

They are both so great, big stars but no diva behaviour at all.

Talk about "Phenomenal" women like the late great Maya Angelo's great poem, "Phenomenal Woman'...these two are the embodiment of that! Love their hilarious, intelligent banter as well and what they say politically and about the environment is so true! I love Grace and Frankie...what a real treat it's been to watch that! I love Lily and Jane! They are comedic icons! The interviewer is not so great.

Lily is so different to frankie in person. She seems to just speak occasionally wereas frankie would be making herself known and speaking out. and jane is very like grace were she just speaks over frankie/lily and just seems to belittle her ideas. Feels like lily doesnt want to talk too much and when she does it's very Jane takes over or just looks at her ready to step in :( frankie is 10000% my favourite character in any show ever.

This young interviewer is so good. He avoids the "canned" questions ...which makes his interview very insightful & very worth your time in watching. I pray Jane is right...that what we are seeing is the flailing of the wounded patriarcial beast...& I pray it dies out soon ...before it can create irrepairable harm to our planet and our country.
