Asha ji too used to have exactly similar voice to that of Lata ji. That's why,she wont be given chances to playback. Hence,Asha ji changed her voice pattern which was not that easy but the fruit of rigorous riwaz. Usha ji couldn't make it,so she disappeared from the singing industry.

Usha Jee's voice and singing was Lata type (sharp) and not Asha type (thicker).. I like the voice of Lata Jee, Suman Kalyanpur jee and Usha Jee for the sharpness and purity and Asha Jee's voice for the heaviness and expressions. It is such a big pleasure to listen to this evergreen song from Usha Jee ! She had a little different texture than Lata Jee and she had her own strong points (utilised in better way by Marathi composers) and can't be compared to Lata Jee ! 👍👍👍

@@gooogly9 I have already said.. Lata is ultimate in overall... but still.. Usha can't be compared with Lata.. there are many songs especially Marathi lavani and folk songs in which, the different strengths of Usha are extracted brilliantly.. Lata was offered almost negligible numbers of lavani songs due to this. Most popular lavani songs were sung by Usha and Asha.

I have often wondered why Usha didn't sing much more songs. Obviously she is very talented. Of the three sisters I place Lata then Usha then Asha.

Asha is a legend. I am so glad that I listened to them in Marathi too. If you want to know what real Asha is, then listen to ‘Sakhi g murli mohan mohi mana’. Or Yuvatimana Daroon..
