The sound engineer for this band deserves a Grammy

Proof that you really can spend 30 to 40 years touring on two big albums. Especially when Nothing's Shocking and Ritual are the albums in question. Just epic.

Perry is 62 or 63 here. Amazing. He makes me not feel so bad about getting old. Perry you are the greatest thing to happen to rock n roll! He isnt about being depressed. The man has always been positive and about being happy. What an original character!

Jane's Addiction have had the best bass lines ever.

Josh is killing it! His post-Peppers career is fascinating to watch. Must be a dream-come-true-for a kid that grew up in the 90s, listening to alternative music. JA has it's sound back now that Eric is back in the fold. Get well soon Dave ❤🙏🌸

In their prime the best band on planet earth. They saved rock and roll in late 80s early 90s. They blew roofs off buildings I remember seeing them in Spokane couple years before 1st Lalapalooza (saw that in Raleigh) and cats were jumping off big speaker stacks into crowd. Energy they brought was immense tribal energy. They were crushing live just destroyed. Perry is a genius. Everytime I hear them now I’m thankful I got to see them in those days a dozen plus times. Purely tribal experience. Every time they’d light into The Mountain Song whether it was 200 or 22,000’people (I saw both ) the entire fucking building would come unglued bordering on scary unglued. Perry always kept things on the edge of violence and rioting then would tame things down at just right time. Also glad to see Perry healthy and not fucked off on dope. This whole show was happiness😢. You’ve aged well gentlemen and survived like a lot of us who ran hard and should be dead. Thank you.

Stephen Perkins is such a damn good drummer.

Man, I’m getting all teary eyed watching them finish their set. Jane’s has been such a part of my life since 1989 . You guy’s know what I mean.🐶

Stephen and Eric are rock solid as always but I think the difference here is Josh. He's an amazing guitarist and has injected a new energy to these classic Jane's songs. Incredible musician.

Sounds like a fucking awesome concert to be at. Janes addiction will never get old. Will always be one of my favorite bands of all time.

Some people like Avery, Farrell, Perkins are veterans of rock. And really deserve to enter in the rock n' roll hall of fame

The whole band sounds amazing and on point. Perkins crushed it. Without him they could never pull off this sort of power.

I was really hesitant to watch JA without Dave, but Josh has exceeded every expectation on every song. Absolutely brilliant. So good to see Eric back in the fold too. I saw the last show by the original line up in Melbourne in 2010. Nice work boys.

There's no replacing Dave, but Josh is a damn good fit! He's a tremendous player and I love the energy he brings to the stage. And how cool is it to see Eric back in the mix? What a terrific show! The band is as tight as ever and Perry is on point. They sound incredible!

Best band ever and Josh is a straight up legend for stepping up and filling in for Dave. He absolutely crushed and it's obvious he and the team put in work to make sure he had his sound/tone dialed in. Dave is the of the greatest guitarist of all time and has such a unique sound, unmatched really, so massive respect to Josh for stepping up and delivering 100%.

Wow Jane’s are sounding amazing! I love Perry’s warmth & humor, and the truth in his ideas. The guitarist has quite the resume, and plays the hell out of Jane’s music. Bravo!!!

I came across this by accident. Wow! I had to watch it several times it was so good. First time I'd come across JA. The guitarist is ace, and the drumming so tight and on the beat.

Pretty insane how Josh is playing those Dave parts that accurate. This is peak alt rock. The definition of the whole genre based on two albums that stood the test of time... And boy Perry sounds great!

Back in 1988 I was 16 years old. One afternoon that summer I went to the mailbox to see if the latest issue of Thrasher magazine had arrived, and to my surprise it had, and inside of it, there was a cassette tape, titled Jane’s Addiction. Nothing‘s Shocking! I’ve been a fan since that very day.

I only listen to live Janes Addiction when Eric Avery is around. I'm a snob, sue me! But, for this band, there is a formula for the Magic, and to me Eric Avery brings the cutting tone and more raw power than the other dudes they used, including Flea. Plus, Eric wrote alot of the music, so he's more emotionally invested. Thats what i tell myself anyways. This music is hard, dark, arty, beautiful, erotic, scary and murky. Woke up a bunch of suburban kids in the 80s - 90s. Was 12 years old when Jane says came out. These guys livened up my youth! Feel better Dave! Josh is also great, thats why hes aging alt rock bands fav hired gun of choice these days!

The whole band was having an absolute blast. Jane's has been one of my favorite bands since they started. As much as I love Dave's presence and playing, I have to say that Josh definitely killed it here.

saw Jane's in '91. Great show. Rollins opened. One of Jane's encores... each had a variety of coolers (like a cooler to put your food and drink into) different shapes and sizes... each had mallets and they had a beer cooler drum circle jam-out! Great time growing up, thanks for the memories.

Saw them in 1991, first lallapalooza tour in middle of nowhere, Waterloo Village, NJ. They closed obviously but at night and the scene was sick. Think we were there for 15 hours drinking wild turkey, beer and plenty of weed. To be 18 again

When the ladies used to come out at Jane's shows years ago it felt L.A night life vibe. Now it kinda feels like Soccer moms playing dress up with Vegas Showgirls costumes.
