Outstanding band...outstanding musicians...saw them twice at their peak both times in Bristol UK...1990 and 1991...1991 gig was the best gig I ever been to one of the loudest, craziest most spiritual experiences I've ever had....magical.
I have never been exposed to Janes Addiction, and knew nothing about what they sounded like. Thought they were more like The Cure. WOW, was I wrong! This song rocks, and I had no idea Navarro was such a good guitarist! You never read about him in guitar magazines, but you should. Power house drummer too. Don't know his name, but I will find out. Thanks to TV show Ink Master, I have discovered a hidden gem. I will listen to more for sure!
What a show! I was there, and all I can remember is the mixture of NIN goths with the Janes Trippin Hippies mixed together having a great time. Seeing two of my favorite bands back to back and eric avery on bass. Frickin awesome man.
Definitely their magnum opus. Deep purple had child in time, Led Zeppelin stairway to heaven and Jane's addiction Three days. Long, different parts and so exciting.
Farrell ruins this whole visual experience lol. I love Jane's but he just gives me the ick since forever. PS Saw them live in NZ maybe 1992? I was 17, had no clue how awesome the were but it was still amazing.
Hell, the late 90's were still Great, this disappoints me because Perry could do some work and sound a good bit better. You can hear it when he pushes it, Navarro sounds as good as Ever!!
Ummm, that's Eric Avery, the catalyst , the alpha and omega of Janes. Without Eric A there would not be a Janes. And yes, Perry is just shell of his former self but glad to see all original members.
I saw Janes at the '91 Lollapalooza at Irvine Meadows. I watched Eric the whole time as I was a bass player. He is still my favorite bass player. I wish I had caught them when Eric came back but he left again so quickly. Janes is not the same w/out Eric. He doesn't get enough credit.
This is a silly comment..without any of these members there would be no janes..theyre all just as important..too bad they couldn't stay together and make more music..and Perry's always been a freak..so what
@@stanleysteamer3212 I think the comment is pointing out the member that had the idea for the band, and looked for other band members to start Jane's Addiction. Without him finding the other members and bringing them together under that name, there would be no band under that name.
Man I miss that place too bad they had to tear it down for developers. Too many awesome shows from 4× Rush, roger waters, numerous weenie roasts, sting, clapton, motley crue. Great venue and my buddies house was a 20 minute drunk walk away. Good memories. 91' what a time to see them at the height of their powers.
I forget if I filmed NiN that night. I filmed Jones Beach and Holmdel Jane’s. One of the nights I filmed only a couple of NIN songs. I can send you a link to the raw footage. Please do the same. As you can see from my page I love doing multi-cams.
Perry's voice is nearly nonexistent anymore. But that's what happens when you do it for so long. Plus all the abuse his vocals took lol the rest of the guys sound like they did back in the 80s and 90s
