Im 67 , very healthy, happy, never been sick ,and i went in to have a pap test and after a week i get a phone call that i have HPV and Cin 3 cancer ,i was devastated. My husband of 48 years passed away in 2/25/22 ,i felt so violated. Im alone ,lost and numb right now. So i had my first Leep Procedure and it didn't work, and so i had to decide what to do so i thought do another Leep Procedure,im so scared. Please pray for me 😢🙏
Wow this breaks my heart. I can’t imagine how alone and broken you must feel. I’ve been married for over 13 years and I too, had an abnormal pap from HPV. It makes me sick. I just had an ultrasound in Friday and I’m now waiting for results . Are you doing okay today ?
@@rachelwyatt6030 Yes, I had a second leep procedure and it worked, only I still have HPV , but it's not going to make me feel bad. So next year in July 2024 I pray my pap test is ok.🙏❤️
Every person ive ever met named jane has just been amazing human beings !!! I adore this women to bits. Im getting my results today from biopsy. I was scared till ive watched this. Thank you.
God, Jane, don't know what to say. So powerful. Your truths have spoken to me and evoked such emotions: "digesting your fate" and "what am I going to do if" turns into living a day at a time, and living your emotions. Seven years. You ARE a Warrior and you live with such hope and positivity that is not just inspiring but aspiring. Thank you Jane for bringing awareness to this cancer that is often overshadowed by ovarian. XO
my mom has just been diagnosed with very advanced cervical cancer. It's grown so large they are giving her some chemo and radiation in the hospital and then sending her home on hospice. She has given up. Her o2 dropped this morning so they put her on o2. I love hearing stories like yours, it gives me some hope where there is none.
Tell her DO NOT give up!!! I had advanced cervical with a tumor larger than a grapefruit..also one in my lymph node. I did chemo...radation and radiation surgery. I have been cancer free for 10 years....they did not think i would survive
I'm nearly 63 and have just been told I'm HPV positive and have abnormal cells. If there was a vaccine for HPV back in the 70s and 80s, why weren't we told about it? I never even knew about it until my teenage son was offered the vaccine. Fingers crossed I'll be ok. ❤
The vaccine first appeared in 2006. It wasn't around for some of us. But for the younger generations. They can really prevent HPV cancers now! Good for you for getting your son vaccinated.
