Janet is the BLUEPRINT: the contemporary bridge between Old School Showbizness and today's apiring stars- where triple threats mastered not just the art but CRAFT of entertaining. They know what they're doing in their SLEEP and i LOVE IT 😍! That's the level of excellence we used to be raised on and it is American tradition . I don't know what these children are doing today who get rewarded for mere breath control without even being able to get through 16 counts of movement, but they would be wise to study Ms. Jackson, lol.

Nobody cares about these trolls, they stay on Janet's video's and criticizing her because they know their favs will never and could never ever be as gracious, polished and epic as Janet. As you can see Janet doesn't base her tours/concerts on using all kinds of lighting effects and one thousand females dancing behind her to make her look bigger than she is. Janet set the precedence for being an entertainer who is about performance and giving 1000% of herself to her craft. She's not bending to fit this stage mold that these twerkers and coochie poppers are all doing. Janet is in her own lane, always has been and always will be. Her choreography is Epic and intricate, something none of these other female performers are able to do. People keep bringing up beYAWNce, but at the end of the day, what she does on stage is nothing more than what you see in the hoods across the country and in strip clubs, a bunch of booty popping and twerking...And people always try to make it a big deal that seats are empty when a lot of their favs get seat filler (that's when they grab people from nose bleed seats to come and fill seats in the front), Janet is about performing for her fans and still tours because of her fans.....and not even the newest entertainers can fill every seat. So it's understandable that some seats where empty, that's with many artist, some cities they sell out and others they don't. Janet has stood the test of time and she has older and younger fans and name is always on peoples lips for her contribution and longevity in the industry - but we can't say that about a lot of these fly by night artist, including beYAWNce who used Jay_z to fill a stadium which was still not completely filled and from reports their team where in the parking lot giving away tickets to fill seats.....so it goes to show artist are using all kinds of trickery to stay relevant these days in particular..and since beYAWNce has always struggled to fill a concert arena or theatre, she used Jay-Z and his fanbase along with hers to try and fill a stadium, so that she can use the footage in a montage to make claims that she was that popular because there is not much footage of her and her audience during a tour that she showed. But anyway, Janet's legacy will never be tarnished or forgotten, because all roads lead back to her when it's all said and done because she is the blueprint and people still are in awe of her 45 years later and she's still performing 45 years later.

I'm a fan and stand by what I say: the mic was too low at certain points. Being a fan doesn't mean you can't share a casual observance. The sound system or the acoustics in general was washed out at points during this show. But what I do like is that the singing of this and SOTW was close to 100% live and I didn't notice tracks for any of the lead vocals. So I'm satisfied. Just turn up the damn mic at certain parts of the show.

Yes indeed, she's always been my inspiration. She inspired me to dance, and I love how she's so private and not attention seeking, just a beautiful spirit.

This was the very first concert of this magnitude held on derby day and at this venue. Being the professional Jan is...if there were 10 people there, she'd bring it graciously. I don't think it was promoted as it should have been, but for a first...it was still a fun night, hardly dead 🤷🏽‍♀️

The cities performed in are not at the total control (no pun intended) of the artist themselves. There are many behind the scenes workings in putting a show/tour together, but one main factor...Philly promoters have to be able to afford the entertainment to come to the city before artist sign the contract. Communicate to those in your city who bring entertainment not blame the artist because they don't come there. 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️

Tickets were on sale for every seat in the stadium. They simply didn't sell, and they probabaly lost money on this gig. Here's the deal: I get that Janet's older and she can't move like back in the day. That's fine. She really has nothing to prove at this point. In that case, she should hang it up and dedicate her time to something else. But....if she's going to put on a show and charge fans money to see her, then the least she can do is make a decent effort. She's clearly not trying or even into it. And you know it.

She's decades younger than Cher, Tina Turner, and Mick Jagger, and they still brought it well into their 70's. She has a child? She also has a full-time nanny, two full-time assistants, a personal chef and trainer. Her heart's just not into it. And that's fine. Then don't sell tickets to concerts where you're sleepwalking through the show, and wearing outfits that look like they were designed and fitted that morning. You're a dance artist first and foremost. Either get into shape and do it right, or stay home.
