Today was the grand opening of Julien's Auctions museum-style exhibition with over 1,400 of Janet Jackson's personal items on display and I was there!!
Janet has been music royalty for over 45 years and generously partnered with Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, California, for a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans to purchase her most iconic and recognizable treasures from music videos of her biggest hits like Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, Together Again, Scream (with brother Michael), Nasty, Control, What Have You Done For Me Lately, If, All For You, The Pleasure Principle, Feedback, Doesn't Really Matter, Escapade, Black Cat, When I Think of You, Made For Now, and the list goes on & on!!
I hope you enjoy the walk through the space & can make it to the auction this weekend (May 14 - 16, Janet's Birthday!) So many incredible pieces up for auction, not only beautiful costumes but also her jewelry, furniture, tour equipment, fashion sketches, childhood dolls, and just about anything you would wish for as a superfan of this beautiful and talented performer with a heart of gold.
A portion of all the proceeds are also going to Janet's charity, Compassion International, because like her brother, and the entire Jackson family they are extremely philanthropic. Enjoy!
