I will never forget how Janet made me feel and how she empowered me as a gay man. Her, Madonna and Whitney! There is a magical thing that happens when gays and Janet come together!
Such an underrated era during Janet Jacksons career. I really love the Discipline album and I hope that one day it will be on the different streaming platforms. The album deserved a lot more succes than what it had when it was released. In my opinion it´s one of her best albums during her career.
I wonder if we will ever get the Janet. & Rhythm Nation tour s on DVD...sounded like Janet wanted to release them...must have been a glitch, but still holding out for hope!
I understand where she's Coming from ! Because Here It is 2021 and I'm still Depressed!¡ I wish I could Really meet her!!! Right now I'm crying!! Janet can influence me!!!
Thank u (×) 9 !!! U opened up ur heart 2 me with that , interview !!! I LuVed many things dat u said ! But just to mention only 3 🤔 Ur retrospective view of da very early years, & 1 of ur Legacies from ur Parents , ur EMINENCE, work Ethics!!! & 3rdly ur All encompassing HUMILITY!!! U. R. DA BEST 🔥📀🔥
When she does finally release those 2 tours on DVD, I wonder what concert from the janet. Tour she plans to release because on that tour the set list always changed. Some songs were regulars, some were on and off the set list, and some came in like halfway through the tour. The “Rhythm Nation Tour” was pretty much the same every show.
((A little after 29 sec into the video)) lol Larry what the HELL is a "BON' De Vont?!" Even Janet cracked a wide smile when Larry said that as she walked to the table in the beginning of the show LOL
I love Larry King's interviews. He was such a class act with everyone and seemed to genuinely like Janet. She also always appeared to have a soft spot for him. I never saw her final interview with Larry from 2010. Does anyone know where I can watch it? If so I'd really appreciate it if you can that info. It'd be great to see. I imagine he was extra compassionate and kind to her during that interview considering was grieving her brother's passing.
Janet is and has always been amazing, but I think she's gone through a change after her divorce from her second husband and her brother passing. Her second husband Rene was good in a sense of helping her, caring about her career at the beginning but that changed to where he became something that was not good anymore. The controlling, the alleged cheating, and when she stated she could not see for a month after an incident on stage practicing, he seemed to be preoccupied somewhere else while she had to stay home. She said, he wasnt caring, wasn't there. Soon after she wanted to leave but he asked for a divorce first. Strange how then he sues her and ask for the home in malibu they shared and the Mercedes car. Now he lives with his new wife (who 20 yrs his junior, becames his longtime girlfriend after the divorce). They share that same home, he once shared with Janet. Janet is an icon but her brother's death really lost her, because he was her bestfriend.
Someone needs to ask her ass again about the Rhythm Nation and janet. World Tours... Whether its dvd (which is barely a thing anymore) or release or streaming services and also for purchase
Why is he asking her about getting older? He was a lot older than her. Nobody asks men these stupid questions. If he was interviewing a man, that would not be an issued and the question would not be asked unless the guy was 80 or something like that.
I have met one her former trainers at the beach in Laguna Bach and he told me that they get injected with male hormones before the tours. All of them: Janet, Madonna, Beyonce... touring the world and lack of sleep, the constant traveling etc. No woman can do that without an "athlete treatment": Training, injections, diet! It is all part of it. They work really really hard! They pay a very high price for the otherworldly success that they have.
