Loved the backflip at the beginning GIMMIE A BEATTT I can't this video is so legendary and iconic especially to pop/new jack swing culture. I guarantee you if social media/RU-vid was around in the 70s and 80s Janet, Michael and the jacksons would be 10x bigger. Especially with the music videos really short films cuz Janet and Michael are some of the rare artists that actually make longer music videos well really short film and theirs actually storylines like a film and actually choreographed stuff .. and Janet being on good times/different strokes etc... (Shows still thought of and still iconic especially great representation of poc and to ppl in general some of the few shows in the 70s/80s that actually discussed serious topics in the right ways/didn't joke about it.) The dance break in this video is so good. If this came out today including the pleasure principle (that would've been #1 on the hot 100 especially cuz of the music video cuz the MV makes the song 10x better) and the song control (their are so many ppl about to be adults that barely have control of their lives so it definitely would cause many ppl especially late teens to relate) definitely Janet would've blew up instantly. Had this album came out today.. When I think of you definitely would've prbly stayed at #1 longer than it originally did cuz it's such a good bop especially dance wise and the video didn't fail. And nowadays theirs not great videos like it was and not great great songs like their used to be. And let's wait awhile would've definitely been way more appreciated nowadays especially since we didn't have too many slow songs now and let's wait awhile is the perfect slow song, also he doesn't know I'm alive definitely would've prbly had a bit more success I definitely thing that's the most underrated on the album.
