I love that new track. It has a Damita Jo kind of vibe, which surprised me since her newer releases were rather introperspective. It's definetely something I'm here for though!
Idk most songs on Unbreakable are very early 00s to me. The album is dedicated to the fans, so it only made sense to make a throwback album. To me the new song sounds like Discipline album's second half when things slow down. Can't Be Good reggae remix is similar. Damita Jo had a lot of that cowbell and very little hard bass to it, especially on slow songs. IE Spending Time With You, Island Life... They all needed a good bassline behind them, and it would've been better in my opinion. As they are, they sound a bit thin to me.
I'm loving that New Janet Jackson sneak preview , it has a upbeat & Mellow balance , the dancers was rocking The Jamaica 🥰🤣💯👍💥 So it Sounds like The Title is I need that, want be long before its added to a long list of radio hits.
she is doing an incredible marketing technique that newer artists usually do for tik tok like rosalia and harry styles where they tease a song on the tik tok like for Rosalia(Desphecia) on the motomami world tour and harry styles teased music for a sushi restaurant during coachella
Janet still has a soft spot for JD & Q-Tip because they are the only ones that didn’t do hard drugs, abuse her, or put her down & Janet sharing snippets the on tour is something other artists are doing now because I think SZA, Megan, & Chlöe did it on some shows
JD admitted to cheating on her in the documentary. And there were rumors that he clashed with Jimmy & Terry when they were making 20 Y.O. Jimmy and Terry were pissed as to how the album turned out. It ended up her least successful album. You'll notice Jimmy & Terry were absent from "Discipline", and didn't work with Janet again until after he was gone. He's also had nothing but financial problems since. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of JD. I thought he did her career no favors.
I was there for opening night of the tour and the sound quality was excellent. I was also at the Orlando show and the sound quality was shit. Ludacris was a waste of time being on stage because all the songs he performed, hardly anybody could understand what he was doing. Janet came on and the sound quality was a little bit better, but not by much. So, I think it has something to do with the sound system and the venue that she's performing at. It's not all 100% her singing and not being able to be understood, I think the venue has something to do with it as well. I had nose bleed seat at the Orlando show and I read a lot of comments from people who had better seats and they said that the sound quality was horrible. And the venue tried to blame it on Janet's sound system, which it could have had something to do with it, but don't put full blame on the artist
I've been hearing complaints about the sound from ppl I know who gone to the shows. Not everyone but some said they couldn't understand her. I know many artists with some tours tend to have a rough start with the sound. They'll figure it out I'm sure.
I quite like it. It has a reggaeton kinda vibe to it. Someone said Damita Jo, but nah, this reminds me of the second half of Discipline album. This can't be good, what's ur name etc sound similar. And the instruments behind it are very Made for Now. The song was probably recorded around 2018.
@@mr.checkyourself4672 , all her recent albums have been hitting number 1 on billboard 200, it will definitely chart. Singles haven’t done too well, a collaboration might just do it. Worked for Madonna
I'm wondering the same.. the tour announcement stated she'd be performing new material, we were told the album black diamond was ready before covid and never came out. Still no new music nor did she actually perform new stuff. So I'm wondering the same .. when will we get new material.
@@Sammae sounds like her marketing team is lacking again. I already have to put up with heavyweight Janet who doesn’t dance as much. Now I gotta hear music I’ll never hear. SMH.
Nah JD does not go well with Janet sorry lol. He put too much influence on her music in 20YO and Discipline and to me they were her worst albums to date.
To be fair it's hard to hear, I've heard by a number of ppl it was hard to hear her due to the sound. A buddy said if they didn't know the words to the songs they wouldn't know what she was saying.
