The location looks a lot like the old Elmwood Plantation Restaurant. Hahaha... was owned by Joe Marcello, young brother of the mafia don, Carlos. Joe allowed me to paint his place into the montage design ( and included free drinks while I sketching on-location, LOL). So it was featured in a montage design of New Orleans Ala Cart Mag. Not long after my art, showing flames coming from a wood stove, near a pink plaster column... Elmwood burned down... Whew. Weird coincidence . Anyway.... what a nice background. I will do a painting of Ms Klein, if allowed, in this setting. What a classic performance.... and charming performer! She is a hoot!!!
