people who film themselves doing "good" things are so fake

I have a feeling he didn't give her the flowers but said something like can you hold these and then walked off, putting her in an awkward position

The comments from stream viewers are priceless. Someone said she cant sue because of first amendment rights. People need to learn what the first is and what is does. Also, in most places, you have to consent being recorded. As in, someone cant legally use that video for anything.

@@doozey365 only if there is a expectation of privacy. In America she could sue, but she won’t get much from it.

Honestly, I guess when anyone does something others deem 'stupid' they change nations.

i mean i don't know where it was filmed but it can be illegal in my country also (depending on how you were filmed eg in a crowd is fine but not like the old lady was). We have a "privacy act" that comes into play. There is some people that this doesn't apply as heavily towards (normally businesses or the news etc) but for individual things like this it does. You can get permission to use after the image is taken which can be argued that you have verbally but in this videos case he would have walked away so he could leave the flowers and not gotten it before so it was a surprise therefore couldn't claim this.

@@nohighlife i mean the part of doing good deeds for "likes and views" im seeing a lot of people saying he just doing that for likes and views even tho MrBeast do the same but of course with cosent (people really thinking that just because u filmed a good deed is because of likes and views)

Yea I guess, but it's just sad because regardless of his intentions, the video was still wholesome. It reminds me of people trying to cancel Mr. Beast with that same logic that he wouldn't do it if it wasn't on camera, not knowing that he is actually more charitable offscreen than 99% of people saying that

@@TheDailyEgg people in chat were saying it was more about her portrayal in the video. And I don't think the Beast comparison is the same. Especially because I'm sure he has people taking care making sure he's doing everything legally and he's getting consent to show the people.

@@justanotherperson05 I wasn't talking about the legality of videomaking, I was talking about the logic of "he wouldn't be charitable if it wasn't on camera" when I mentioned Mr. Beast. And in that sense it's the same

@@TheDailyEgg In that regard, it is AT LEAST partially true. Because that's how he makes money to do what he does. That's how I see it anyway.
