You're right, Jann did in fact do dance, though I'm pretty sure it was in uni. However, as a kid he did opera/choir and that's why it can be found in his music. The operatic voices in the song were done by him. I definitely recommend watching him live :) btw the black stuff is jelly mixed with some chemical thing that makes it black
