I recently bought the machine having always had Janomes and I have to be honest and say I am less than impressed. It’s not seemingly able to go through seams on seams, the reverse sewing function is dreadful, the needle threader doesn’t work (fairly typical of Janomes). I’m not happy with it at all. I’ve always loved my Janomes. My honest advice is go and try it for as long as you can and sew through different fabrics before spending a lot of money on something you’re stuck with.
