Love riding my ebike. Even if it's just getting out of the house for awhile. Having nerve damage in my lowers I never thought I would get to explore again. Surely has opened a whole new world. Fun is a understatement. Thanks for sharing another adventure!
im glad to hear how an e-bike is helping people get back outside again.. They really are a huge benefit because i know many people with physical challenges want to be back out in nature but mobility and physical strength hold so many people back - Joey
I'm an elderly, lifelong mountain bike rider, almost daily for 50 years. I have arthritis in my back and legs. My legs joints are probably wearing out, too. It's been a God send to people like me. I ride 9 months daily and pedal. Life is good.

Agreed.. at first is was only the old people but now i look and kids, retired folks, deliveries... they are the way forward.. as technology in battery power gets better.. the bikes will get even more adoption!
Thanks for the review, Joey. Never leave your bike charging when your not home. Unless it's outside. Lots of fires from ebike batteries. Makes a huge fire when it explodes.
exactly.. that is my biggest worry.. i usually charge it on my patio with extinguisher and only concrete flooring or i can throw it out on the lawn and let it burn itself out.. - Joey
True… Applies to anything that has a lithium battery 🔋. My friends camcorder battery ignited in his hotel 🏨 room when he went to bed. The smoke detectors woke him and the surroundings room up at 4:00 AM
The style of this bike is dope. There are so many options in this category so considering the price being THOUSANDS of dollars (yes THOUSANDS)less than a SUPER 73. Seems like a no brainer as a good buy 👍
Thanks Joey! Great assembly and review! That thing looks very well built, should last a good long time. Probably a bit too tall for me, though. Keep 'em coming my friend!
Ordered 1 and im super excited to receive it thanks to your video. I'm 44 and in need of a second vehicle, my wife will now take or car to work and I will be riding this. My first thought was ride this to save for a second car. But now I'm thinking save for a surron. I have a valid drivers license and I would rather ride a new ebike than drive a dumpy vehicle that you need to register, put in gas ,maintenance and repair.
Yeah man having a hard seat jack hammering the Gooch zone for 5 miles aint my style! NO SIR! if the seat aint right - its GOOD NIGHT.. Give me a padded banana seat and we got action !
I loved your review… I am 63 and ordered this bike just to get out. I rode motorcycles a bunch when I was younger… I miss my 6 cylinder Honda CBX… but I would kill myself on it these days… lol… I love riding this machine. My manual fat tire bikes are great… but I wanted to try an e bike and this is my first. Awesome video and thank you
Hey Ray - what do you think about the e-bike life? Yes Its slower and thats OK because Im getting Slower and I like the e-bike for around the neighborhood cruising and 25-28 mph is just fine for me - Joey
@@VegasDtech it may be a bit premature for me to comment on this X50, as I have only owned mine for a week. But, I live out in the country so I have miles of paved rural roads and dirt County and FM roads around me. The bike brought back some now ancient memories of riding my banana seat bike when I was a kid. My father was career US Navy and I was 9 when we first moved to the US from Japan… so I rode the heck out of my first bike and this reminds me of those days back in 1969… That being said… I all to well remembered that sense of fear while being chased by big mean dogs… I own 3 bassets and they do not run with me lol… but there are a few dogs a mile and a half away that act like I owe them money when I ride by. So the bike lets me out run them.
Lucky you....This e-bike has some pros and cons of the other e-bike you had before. That other one was a frickin tank, but this one looked like it would be easier to man-handle if needed. The other one had a quicker top speed, but speed isn't necessary, more for climbing hills. You have a good little obstacle course you take the bikes on. I was digging the, put the bike together, montage music. You got me interested in looking into one of these. Thanks for the channel.
Hey Brad.. yeah bro im just going to integrate e-bike reviews into my weekly reports (TECH-TALK) Tuesday.. is E-bike day.. Lake mead Water reports are Wednesday.. So tune in and Ill make it fun for everyone! and find the right E-bike for all that have interest in them because they have helped my get back outside and trying to keep my weight in check ..
That installation progress bar is *FIRST CLASS* and shows you to be a pro vs. other uploaders. It's not just for skipping ahead. It's ubervaluable to revisit a point later, for anyone who follows along with you but needs to go back to a specific time. I may buy this. I also like this your Himiway Escape Pro, also reviewed, but I don't think I'll ever go off the road. I just want a street bike. But I'm only 5'10 so I'll probably test drive at bike rental place first. I'll use your sweet purchase link if I can! Have you reviewed any besides those 2?
Oh i have like 3 more reviews in recording hopper right now as the ebike companies are all asking me to do reviews for them... maria is 5'3 and she likes the Himingway and also the Kommoda as the seat height works for her just right! more to come Bill
Northern Arizona, where all ebikes and electric bikes are considered bicycles in my town. There's probably around 50 ebikes in my small town. Everything is wide open.
53 makes you a young houligan! I'm 69 and still considering one of these things. Only thing is I live in a really small bit hilly town. Every place I go im going up hill half the time. At 210 lbs I'm thinking I'd be getting low mileage per charge. Well, we'll see. Im a fan and a subscriber. Really like your videos which now includeds the ebike reviews. Say hi to Marie for me and keep up the good work my young houligan friend! 🤣
James.. sadly my Jumping days are behind me now.. Im getting too old for this craziness.. but I will be incorporating the e-bikes into the channel to give some variety during the week - Ill be back with a hoover dam video tomorrow! see you there' Your friend - Joey
Yeah? Man Those were some fun days going out to parks and finding rings and jewelry! But i can only do that in the spring and fall out here.. Summer is way too hot and the park grass is too dry!
Hey Ed thats cool man .. Ill be doing alot more so we can just hang out and cruise around the neighborhood after I do my weekly Lake Water reports.. - Ill be back with a new video tomorrow!
Hi amazing video. Do you know where to get a replacement seat if you know the original seat rips? I been looking all over for replacement parts before purchasing. Like replacement parts for the turn signals, headlight, and seat. These don't seem to be universal parts but I could be wrong, please correct me! 😁
1. I like each one of those accessories. Hope they're for all purchases, not just promotions for reviewers. 2. Are all E-bikes shipped with chain threaded and tensioned? That can be hell, as many 10 speed riders know when they get a rear flat. 3. Thinking about that front wheel quick release: when you remove the key, what is not secure? Are quick releases for wheels, battery, etc. open to California shoplifters? I also worry about accessory bags that way. Can you chain it outdoors at work and forget about it?
Wow! 30 Miles is a Commute! I work only 3 miles away so these work great but if i am Needing serious trans to work I need to jump on the Freeway and my motorbike is for those days.. Joey
No Way are you 53. Brother. You look great for 53. Another nice ride. Man I got to pull cash to get one. There is so many Choices. And my main Problem is how much use would I get out of it. These Reviews are awesome Man. Peace Brother..
Hey Dan.. Thats it right there brother' - I have motor bikes and scooters and since I got these E-bikes ... the batteries on those bikes are dead because im always out in the neighborhood in the evenings on the e-bikes! Maria and I just go out on the bike trails around our neighborhood and put miles and miles on them... ill keep reviewing them until you see one that fits your taste and style!
@@VegasDtech Keep up the reviews. You will be doing a lot of them. I am not sure at all on any of them. I would Like to see one that can get 60 miles+ on throttle only. Then I know I would have Less Paddling to do to get to the beaches.. You are Awesome Brother..
I think you may have meant that the battery has a life span of 48 amp hours noy 4.8 You people on the fence about getting an E bike, Jump! Soo much fun!
A major flaw with many! Really can't prevent unless you unlock the battery and take with you 😆 I think you can buy a seperate ignition turn key switch to install, but thats a hassle.
That's a might moto looking eBike. Dig the monoshock. These things are usually reasonable to assemble. Of course this one is way cooler than my stodgy of Rad Rover 6 Plus with all the geezer baskets and pet carrier. Definitely recommend the SunTour boinger seat post and Cloud 9 seat. No rear suspension can really leave you rump-sprung on a Rad. That Jansno is just sooo zoomy looking.
Hi Joey and Maria! Hope all is well with the two of you and that absolutely adorable new grandson! Joey what are you doing out in 114 degrees riding a bike, trying to give yourself heat stroke crazy man?🤣🤣 nice review Joey. Those handlebars do look like they would definitely be more comfortable. I wonder if they make e-bikes for really short people like me! That bike is longer than I am tall!🤣 Give that baby extra loves from me! Love y’all ❤️🙏
I will keep reviewing ebikes untill i find the perfect one for everyone! tall short big or small - an ebike adventure for all! Lol - be back very soon - Joey
No.....that was 100% Bermuda grass at the Park! Its the one place the City has deemed will continue to get watered... It was really nice and green there!
I know this may sound silly but this biggest turn off on this bike are the ridiculously cheap looking fenders, look like they belong on a toddler bike.
hey Kevin.. Yeah I decided to devote e-bike reviews every tuesday ( TECH-TALK) Tuesday we will review a new bike! Lake Mead/ Hoover Dam water reports come out Wedsday/ Thursday.. - keep some variety going in the channel.. I Really love building and riding the E-Bikes! - More to come brother - be back tomorrow! - Joey
These bikes have been coming out of Cali via FED-EX and usually takes like 3 days.. So not bad at all but FED-EX requires adult signature so having to be home for the delivery can be a pain.
I couldnt find the Ridstar parent company website.. It was being sold by Amazon- Ali express and Jolta website.. The price i was seeing was $999. Would love to review that model if i could get a hold of marketing dept of Ridstar - Joey
Really? I see all those Grubhub guys flying through traffic in NY and im like wow' Those guys are dare devils on two wheels.. Some dont even stop at red lights! Crazy insane....
Did you have to disconnect the one wire under the seat to get max speed? Or did you go into the programmer to go from 20 to like 28mph? Thanks, great review vid! Craig
Did I hear you correctly that you are 53 y/o? No F' ing way! When you announced (last week?) that Maria was home with her new grandchild, I was thinking that Maria & you looked WAY TOO YOUNG to have a grandchild. Thanks for the review of the e-bike (something I could afford, if the interest rates weren't so high!) Nice that you have different areas to ride around in - Tulsa is in no way bike friendly, even if they did put in "bike paths" on major streets.
Hey Bob! yeah brother im 53 and maria is 54 and now her son just had a baby so we are grandparents now... Im blown away man.. Grand parents' geesh! You take care of yourself out in Tulsa and we will be back tomorrow with a Hoover Dam water report - your friend - Joey
Like 30 min? once you get the routine down, they come together pretty quick... all the assembly is the handle bars and front wheel... Everything else is usually already assembled from handle bars back... maybe the seat and pedals and you're all done!
No way its perfect bro, you're 9 inches shorter, he's 6 ft tall and has to get on his "tip toes" to get on the seat, thats not good! These ebikes are NOT One-size fits all. Especially moto e-bikes with their non-adjustable seats. 31 in. seat height means your inseam so really riders need to be at least 5'7"+ or you're gonna risk losing your nut sack slipping off the seat and onto the top post! 🥚🥚😆 Adjustable seat ebikes allow a much broader range of heights and peddling than moto style.
@@Wize817 speak for yourself bro. Im big chilling on this bike. It’s perfect for me. The min height is 5,3 which is my height. Bros probably lying abt his height. The bike is fine.
When I think about a e-Bike All I can vision is getting on it when you REALLY need to go some where and all you hear is CLICK CLICK-- CLICK oh well should have had my Gas Power one LOL......Keep your Ebikes and your toxic batterys Ill buy Gas..
All so very nice but you can still fall over while rolling like a dork and suffer excruciating pain from skin being sanded off. You get to feeling like superman with super powers until you make one quick indecisive wrongly wrong move at high speed on two wheels. Don't be a foolish dork with your new freedom to zoom around fast. Old people heel slowly remember.
Man these electric bike reviews been interesting I have to say the cyrusher Kommoda E-bick one you did is my favorite And it probably was the most expensive lol 🤣. I like the red on it.
