As it turns out the tri-cube can jumble, I just wasn't able to find the right angle to jumble it from when I was moving the puzzle on camera. I'm sure the puzzle is actually much more difficult than I portrayed in the video

Hey, you're missing something with that ghost 3x3x1. If you turn two edges 90 degrees with one edge between them, you can flip that edge 180 degrees, making the solve more difficult.

Not really, that actually makes the solve easy since you only have to worry about the corners.

If you just turn 1 edge like that, it will not be solvable later on without repeating the process. No, it's not that much added challenge, but at least it helps with disorienting a little!

These are interesting puzzles! I am especially amazed by the tri-cube as it is really something uncommon to see. Most other puzzles have deeper cuts. So in theory this puzzle should be kind of easy but still the designer managed to get it to jumble and thus turn it into something even more confusing....

Before you solve it, shouldn't you know how to scramble it? Check RedKB's video on that cube. He found a way to jumble it.
