Has shifting to neutral with a dead battery EVER worked for you?!?! It's actually worse, because now your holding the brakes which is sending battery power to the tail lights instead of the cranking motor!
4:46Probably because it is stone cold and you don’t go out and start them enough when it is very cold outside I would recommend starting them at least once a week when it’s freezing cold and let them run till they are fully warmed up
23:34 I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado and in the winter when it starts turning over really slow I never ever ever ever let go of the keyOr that will happen what it did to you the battery will go dead because it takes too much amps or power to turn the starter again
If I had a dollar every time an American car bonged. Open the door *bong bong bong*. That one I get. But you put the key in *bong bong bong* start the engine *bong bong bong* turn engine off *bong bong bong* WHY do American cars bong so much when you do ANYTHING with them?? I mean no disrespect but this is one question I will never stop asking myself.
I don’t know if you know this but when an engine is cold it is stiff another words the oil is in the bottom of the sump the battery is weak which means when you turn a cold engine over you need to let it crank a little bit more and so I can get oil pressure up and two vehicles when they sit out in the cold they will take longer to start obviously because the engine is cold so you have to hold the key a whole lot longer than what you would normally do if you were starting it on a warm day instead of a cold day
Im trying to understand what is the difference between starting in park and shifting into neutral if a car didn't start when shifted in park. Dead battery means the same regardless of the gear.
+Cory Batzer as soon as he said let's try neutral I laughed my rear end off. I'm sorry there are things you hear in this world that just you have to listen a few times to make sure you hear it correctly. I never heard that saying before with a dead cold battery. Click Hmmmmm lets try neutral.
Fords are very good vehicles. My 2006 Ford F-150 has 177,000 miles, and the only thing I've had to replace is a component in the 4 wheel drive system. They're some of the best vehicles out there. Let me guess, you think Dodges are very good reliable cars.
24ganstaman, that doesn't mean a damn thing, they were probably going fast for all you know. I can assure you Ford's ARE very safe... but it looks in this video as if the cars that had the most trouble starting were the GM vehicles. Not surprised tho.
No offense, but how can anyone have confidence buying from your dealership when over half the cars you have don't start? I understand it's somewhat cold, but the cars should still start.
Jennifer I am so sorry I didn't get back to you on that one and the other is a great way to get the kids to the house and get back to you on that one and the other is a good time to come by and see you soon 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 it was great 😀☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ have 😊 day and I love you too baby 😘😘😘😘❤️
No, The Reason Why, Your Battery’s Are Going Dead, is Just Because, You Don’t Let Them Run, long Enough, Dambass, You need To Give The Alternator, Time To Charge The Battery
I like how people blame the car for a dead battery. Yea, this only happens with NIssan (facepalm). Really ? Um, you let any car sit for weeks in the cold, with the key less entry receiver running, memory for ECM, clock...etc and any car will drain a battery. Grow up. You may be able to play a xbox, but you should learn basic electrical principals before you troll.
