I don' t make any resolutions because I know that I won't do any. I started to read the book Atomic Habits a year ago, and I couldn't make it a habit to read it 😅😅😅 so I haven't finished reading it. So far 2024 its a great year for me and my family, I got promoted at work, we will be welcoming a new baby in august 🥰 my husband will be graduating in may and hes already working in his field🙌🏼 thank you God🙏🏻

Male’s perspective: It’s not that men fall in love with a woman who cooks for them, it’s that she took the time and effort to show consideration for her man when he is going through something tough (life, work, etc). She is adding value to his life and took the initiative to do something for him. Which is meaningful. Men are given way less things or gestures in their lifetime than women receive so it is more meaningful to us when we receive something. That’s just how life is. Cooking is just one type of vehicle to help a man because many men aren’t interested in cooking. Men and women are different so most men don’t show consideration by cooking for a woman bc it isn’t our strong suit. Men should however reciprocate in other ways that their partner wants to receive love. Whether it’s paying for a date (which requires time and effort to earn the money) or thinking of a meaningful gift, or planning a date. It doesn’t mean you have to cook for a man for him to love you, each man has their own love language. So it’s not wrong for those men for loving their women for their acts of service. And I’m sure that’s not the only reason they love their woman. Hope this helps from the male’s perspective.
Hopefully! It’s just that the amount of people mentioning cooking and cleaning was scary. We’re just pointing out the fact that we tend to talk about men’s emotional availability, or intelligence, or ability to solve problems etc etc. For us anyway, money doesn’t mean anything (personally speaking). But we wish that when we listen to a man’s problem, or simply gave him sound advice, or found a solution for an issue he might be having at work…we wish this would count. But it didn’t seem to. But I get your perspective and hope you’re right haha. Also hoping that cooking become everyone’s strong suit - all we need to do is put the young boys in the kitchen like our parents did US girls at 10, 12 years old… 😂😂😂 and trust me I did NOT want to be there. Thanks for the response :) With all the conveniences of food delivery services I think cooking is a lost cause for both men and women 😅 I used to think that money shouldn’t matter in a relationship too, but I’ve realized it affects many parts, whether it be simple as planning dates, eating food together, traveling, and eventually get married and raising kids. It’s important to talk about money (which is so taboo, especially in Korean culture) so that you are on the same page. Just like Leslie and her fiancée are with the rings. It’s great that they agree on it.
