January 2024 it’s crazy to think it’s here already. A great time of the year to start inspecting some of last years Whitetail Habitat Improvement project that you were able to accomplish. Now will tell you what happened in the Fall before Winter and or Spring movements overlap in those areas.
Before adding more Hinges and such be sure to inspect those areas and look at what they are doing throughout and how they are navigating those built features.
Here is a walk through of a Doe Bedding area we logged out (FSI) in January of 2022 through February in other close proximity areas. You will see how this has really developed into a great Habitat Correct bedding area close to the Food Plot. We also look into Thermal Cover Topics and what you can do this year to better and or build a Whitetail Doe Bedding Area on your Whitetail Hunting Property.
