@Jay Neagle I had a company buy a Janus door and install it and I had to pay $80 after tax for a head seal 6 months after wondering why my garage was covered in sand and dirt from stuff blowing in
Hello. What do I do to stop the door from going crooked? Every time I go to shut it I have to adjust the whole door cus the lines aren’t lining up with the head. Ends up leaving a gap
Hi, I just installed a Janus 2500. Mine goes straight down. Are you sure the axle of the door is perfectly level and the side guides are also level. My bet is one or the other is not.
A company called "Automatic Technology" makes a door opener model the "Hiro" that has adapters to fit Janus doors. Check their spec sheet for compatibility with your specific door as there may be a different opener model that works for yours if it's different. I have a Janus model 3652 on my building which works with that opener. Working on installing it as I type this which is why I'm watching this video lol.
At 2:20 if you mount the plates where you are saying to mount them and mount your guides against those plates it leaves you with a gap in between your guides and door jam, starting from a 1/4” at the top all the way down to the floor. How do you prevent that?
