Janzi Band is a Ugandan Afro-fusion, Contemporary and world music group formed on the 27th of August 2009 by Ssewakiryanga James aka Ssewa Ssewa.
Janzi Instrument was invented by Ssewa Ssewa. It was vetted and accorded utility model protection by the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO) in Zimbabwe and Uganda Registration Services Bureau in 2017.
Janzi is a registered company as JANZI BAND LIMITED ( under section 18 (3) 0f the companies act 2012 in Uganda.
