I know that electricians and plumbers charge us about US $110/hr whenever we need them plus a one-time charge of $60 or $120 depending on if it’s a normal service or emergency service. And we live in a cheaper area in the US.
No job is superior than the other abroad, get a job that pays you well, take trips and have investment. Not everyone will own business at the end of the day.
The plumber guy is right though. Listen, don't be carried away by the flashy tech display on social media. Yes, tech pays well, but for the most part it's short term. Trade like plumber is very essential and it pays well and it's sustainable in the long run.
@@Chukboss How did you know my statement is based on "flashy tech display" on social media though? What exactly does he mean by "tech"? Career developers, security, crypro? Are you aware some IT consultants make over £1k per day? And that is just the guys that choose to work for a wage. What of the genuine contractors who source and deliver projects? Not all plumbers make the big bucks too. Lets not get carried away by hype and japa Nigerians seeking validation and relevance back home in Nigeria.
I think you are the one that lacks adequate knowledge on the subject matter. Tech can be super lucrative, but the earnings potential is not the same everywhere abroad. He was specific on the location. Also, from a business perspective, it's easier to transition into business in the construction (plumbing) field than that of tech. Smart construction workers can set up super successful construction agencies, outsource most of the job and retire rich.
