Japan Airlines is truly amazing. The first time I flew with them was on an MD-11 from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Fast forward many years later and I flew with them again to Tokyo and then onwards to San Francisco and back to Tokyo from Los Angeles. Great crew. Very clean aircraft and lavatories.

I love your videos (: I fly almost every year with JAL to visit my relatives so it’s great to see how you really enjoy their products!! A fun fact about JAL (and ANA) if you did not know already, you can actually look up the menu of the inflight meals on their website! You can specify which route, what month, and which class and search it up- it’s nice to know what to expect for the meals beforehand, because indecisive people (like me) have a hard time choosing which one to have!

The views of the takeoff were stunning. I’ve never seen such great photography in a flight review. Well done. Glad to see you enjoying all the great food and alcohol. You drink more than I could as I would be under the table. My grandmother said many times to never mix the grape with the hop! You most certainly did so I wonder if you get hungover after a flight 🥴! I certainly try to enjoy all the food and drink available on a flight, mind you for me 13 hours is fairly long, so if that was a normal day for me, I would certainly have 2-3 meals during that time. I was good after this flight, no hangover :). I just sip and take it easy.

JAL is the most civilised airline I know. Flying with them is always a pleasurable experience in any class. They don’t cram passengers like sardines in a tin. Attention to detail and very welcoming crews. Whenever I can, I choose JAL.

Fantastic take off vision and sound....great weather for flying !! Some of the best food I have seen on any flight !! Hope it tasted as good as it looked !! Nice socks !! I did fly last week LHR-LAX on British airways in business , but it was such a weird experience I did not really film it. It was my first flight since this one. So hoping I can fly more maybe in 2022. Sad times for aviation.

Very nice, although I would have gone with the Japanese selection. Love Japanese food it’s quite healthy and creative. The noodles and dumplings would have been a real treat. Overall looks like a good flight will definitely try JAL next

Nice video, I flew JAL premium Economy from JFK to NRT and I was very impressed, was very comfortable and slept well on a 14 hour flight. Business class is on another level.

Eh not first class for this flight? Anyway good stuff as always :) Noticed they are placing Foreign Base (London crew for your flight) crew onto Business Class too. Usually most will be placed at EY section. How does the service compared to Japanese? Was surprised they were okay to help set up the bed, I know from my flight they are self set up.

Outstanding review as usual! Stunning photography of the ocean with the sun shining on it. You have just reinforced my belief that JAL is one airline that sets the bar for courteous and professional service. The food looked amazing. This is why I prefer airlines like JAL, ANA, SQ, Cathay Pacific, EVA and China Airlines(Taiwan). Hmm, what do they all have in common? Of course! They are all Asian airlines! Wish the American carriers would try to emulate them but I guess that's just wishful thinking! It must be a cultural difference that Americans can't understand how to provide decent cabin service. Aww, you’re wearing the JL cardigan. These APEX suites are really underrated. One thing I love like about them is they don’t feel like coffins *cough* JL SkySuite III *cough* Some airlines have foot wells that narrow, but the APEX suites are quite spacious (even in the middle seat). Moreover, everyone has aisle access.
