I remember my flight home on JAL after three years in the JET program, and watching the airplane video as we took off and landed. First time I'd ever seen anything like that. JAL had great service and it was a good flight.

This just reminded me of the saddest day for me in Japan, I just didn't know it. It was the day I left Japan! No, once I made the decision to return to my country for family reasons, I never thought about it again. Same thing when I was on the plane. Lucky for me I sat next to, and became friends with a Japanese man, that made the flight enjoyable! I'm going to try and return on a JAL flight!

I fly Star Alliance so it's ANA for me. The same check-in and right to the lounge as JAL. International First Class is a lot different. That looks the same as Domestic First Class in the US. Without the personal greeting though. I love Japan for all the little things like that. Thank you.

東京に住んでいたころは年に3-4回、JALを使って仕事でハワイに飛んでいました。マイルが貯まるとファーストにもアップグレードができましたが、その内ハワイ便はファーストをなくしてビジネス・エコノミーのみになってしまいましたね。残念でした！国内線のファーストも良さそうですね！JALの名物ビーフカレー、本当に美味しかったです…💦

So, the little pocket under the screen on the seat in front of you looks like it's a place to stow thin carry on stuff, like, if you brought a book, or a laptop, or possibly like a purse? The ceramic origami crane was adorable. I mean, I assume it was ceramic? Only caught a quick glimpse of it.

Loved the Fukuoka - Tokyo first class flight. At 26,480 JPY, the price was right, especially with the first class lounge. The breakfast was five star. I too would have enjoyed it. Will go with you on our next journey. Take care, stay safe.

Great price. Kinda like a shinkansen ticket price. Not bad. But it's probably classified as First Class on a domestic route. It looks more like a Business Class seat on an international route. Also...always loved the moment when the airplane speeds up on the runway. Ahh....I miss that feeling. Can't wait for my Japan trip in April!!

Wow, I can't believe that they serve you a meal on such a short flight. In the U.S. I have only been served meals on International flights. I have flown in the U.S. for as long as 4 hours and only given snacks but I fly the cheaper airlines.

Ooooh... I have to do a Kyushu to Tokyo flight when I go to Japan in December. That is remarkably affordable. Still cheaper than the train.

This was great, Solo! I remember as a kid in the 50's hearing that Usa was a Japanese town trading with the US, so named Usa so that they could claim "Made In USA" on the products. How benighted of us USA-ans, and how things have changed! JAL is superb. Nobody waves at JFK!🖐🤚👋🤟

there's only one country, people in the usa revier and are obsessed with.. one country we see as better then us... one people here want to live in.. thats japan.. even with our history.. the japanese people, culture, and their brands are just so good... they are equal if not exceed our quality and we know that... we love japan... we love japanese cars.. we love casio... grand seiko.. we love your food.. your engines and boats (yamaha) they make really good fishing gear (dawia, shimano) basically we really respect japan and the people from japan and given our history its really nice...

First class flights in Japan seem pretty affordable, compared to one on an Australian or American airline. Maybe because they don't go so far? (A flight from Melbourne to Darwin, for example, takes six to eight hours depending on head or tail winds, in comparison to the below two-hour flight from Fukuoka to Tokyo)

The stowage under the monitor is intended for personal electronic devices (like a tablet). Disappointed you didn't seem to experience the leg rest and massage functions of the seat!

Nowadays, flying with JAL is synonymous with luxury travel. Nothing is cheap on their flights, including economy. But its true that they treat passengers like royalty. However, I would recommend ANA anytime when going to Japan or EVA Air.

I had taken JAL before when I was a young boy. We flew from Tokyo to Sapporo, Hokkaido for a Christmas 🎄 ski 🎿 trip with relatives and friends. The airline had the best foods on board even for economy class 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Fukuoka is home to some of Japan’s most delicious cuisine, not to mention friendly people and lovely weather. Fukuoka’s food alone is worth the trip to Kyushu, Hakata Ramen🍜 Mentaiko🍝🤤
