Did you know F22's have combat power and regular operating power? They can go so fast they burn the special coating off so it must be totally replaced (baked on). Certain locations on fuselage are subjected to heat more than others,so not entire craft,but still. Now that coating has been created more robust,and that is one of the upgrades they now are getting. Only in emergent combat situation does the extra get utilized. Damn plane is still amazing,but are a few area's they do lack,like helmet target acquisition system I am told. I wonder if that is being upgraded now. Japan needed something to lead the future for years to come and worked out better this way. I hope they field the finest aircraft ever,and call it the double zero..(00).lol...They deserve it..

At idle it sounded like a sewing machine. LOL The Corona was great also, but it had no metal in the body. They rusted away, and only the paint remained. Impressive paint though. LOL
