I can just imagine the dialogue. -cuts in- (Magic Mountain Fanboy) I don't get the hype behind this. It's just Japanese X2! (Takoda) Well, yeah, but Enjanaika is actually a consistently good ride. (Fanboy) So is X2! (Takoda) I don't have time for this. -cuts out-
“Oh my gosh!! This ride.....is incredible!!!” I love your animated, almost emotional response to Eejanaika. It shows viewers that you truly love roller coasters and most of your viewers can relate to that. It’s been a while since I got a new credit that left me with a feeling like that. I looks like you guys are having an absolute blast in Japan. Where does Eejanaika rank in your “favorite rides list”???
Awesome! Those Eejanaika reactions were everything I wanted them to be. That is my # 1 bucket list coaster in the world, and I loved seeing such enthusiastic reactions from everyone.
Ride it at night. There’s a nice chill in the air and when you can’t see the the light at the end of the launch tunnel it’s insane - plus they run a fire effect
Eejanaika looks so good! Arrow's magnum opus was X2 and this looks like the fully realized version. S&S needs to build more of these style 4D coasters and create new custom layouts for them.
Definitely one of my bucket list parks (for Dododompa alone)! Looking forward to all the incoming parodies and reviews! (I love how your mind was blown by every single ride :P I could practically see the explosion remains in your head).
I'm suprised that based on the reaction he gave to ejanika, and saying it was his best ride in Japan, at least thus far, its only a top 15 on his coaster count.
I was lucky to be able to visit Japan early this year and I visited several of the parks. This park was great, although, like each park I visited, didn’t quite live up to expectations. Eejanika is incredible though. Do-Dodopa is just mediocre however.
That's good to hear that whatever that X2 clone is called is a lot smoother, because that's pretty much the one thing wrong with X2, well the seats and restraints, too. If the transitions weren't so jerky then it would be so much more re-rideable, but I can never really ride it more than twice in a row because it can be painful. I wonder if the seats are at all modified for the one at Fuji Q, because that big hump between your legs on the seat on X2 can cause some SERIOUS issues if you don't adjust yourself properly in the seat before being locked in, and the rough rotations exacerbate that.
I love dododonpa lunch. Takabisha is probably my least favorite of the four, it feels too safe and sterile to me. I know people hate Togo coasters and think fujiyama is rough but that's exactly why I love it. And eejanaika is my favorite for sure. I also love that flip a lot. The inner seats are smoother and the outer shake more. Choose what you like more.
You should know the history of X2... Taylor, X2 wins on history. I'm a Magic Mountain Fanboy. It's my home park and I go there every single week. All these rides look great too! :) I'll go check them out one day. That's all for now folks.
You should go to Vienna in Austria and go to the "Prater" and ride Volare. It's a great rollercoaster, but there are lots of other amazing rides. Try it out!
I excepted that reaction from Dodonpa lol never rode it but I rode hyper sonic xlc and the launch on that was ungodly lol so I imagine this one was way more insane.
Eejanaika is my number one coaster, it's incredible. Downside is it's at an awful park. Fuji-Q's operations are the worst I've ever experienced. I waited 25 minutes for Eejanaika when I visited and they sent out 5 trains in that time.
Actual question, for the launch on Dodondopa, can you hold up your arms or will they get mad at you? I'm going to Japan in November, and wanna hit Fuji Q, but was curious.
@@stanton1270 But SV is better than eejanaika, maverick is better than takabisha, mille is wayyyy better than fujiyama, and ttd and do dodonpa is kind of a toss up. What makes fuji q's top 4 better?
You know, I have a feeling that you're not going to like Fujiyama, mainly because it's a TOGO. It's essentially the Big Apple Coaster, except it's a true hyper coaster with no inversions and just a lap bar. It kind of looks like a sketchy roller coaster from some POVs I have seen.
