Naw only America and Canada would be competitive imo. At least in soccer or baseball most countries have it ingrained in their culture to play the sport. Football is far more popular in North America than the rest of the world.

They have that, it's called the IFAF World Championship of American Football. They've only held it 5 times (the last being 2015, the next one in 2025), the first two not allowing the US to participate. Since then, they allowed the US to be involved but we have fielded a team full of Div 3 college players that have annihilated everyone in the last three tournaments.

Yes but I believe each team is limited to only 3 American players. I think that’s to prevent the richest teams just buying NFL talent

@@Subzerox5x Huh? you can't buy college players? If you're a foreigner studying in the Japanese University that has a football club then you can participate in it. It goes the same for high school football too.
