Yggdrasil Brewing is run by a Frenchman Davido. His love of heavy metal and brewing shows in all aspects of his brewpub. The beer, cider, and mead are all unique and experimental while still being highly drinkable and enjoyable. It is well worth the trip, even from Tokyo! Definitely come and enjoy this special atmosphere and craft beer.

I would love to try some of that mead… or the saison, of course! Well, this place is on my list for my next trip to Kanagawa. A little far from where I live in Mie, but it could he justified if I combine it with a visit to Shizuoka…🤔

Everything here was fantastic and Davido is an amazing guy. It's well worth the trip even if you just stop here! You could go to Passific Brewing and Barbaric Works as well and that would be a pretty good craft beer trip
