I have just discovered you , and your videos are amazing , you definitely got a new subscriber ! You give a lot of helpful advices , thank you for all of the very useful information . Can't wait for more of your videos 😊💫
Oh thank you so much! 😊😊🙏 so happy to hear that you find the videos helpful. Excited to create more content and looking forward to having you around here! 🤗💜
Thank you for making this video. I love visiting drug stores when I’m in Japan. Their drugs are top notch. Always buy their muscle ache patches and cream and they are very effective. Also find their base make up (sunblock, primer) better than Korean-made if you stay in humid places as they are less oily.
I just came across your video and I liked you instantly. I am a big believer in any product made in Japan. So crdible. Among the items you recommended I am already using the Anessa sun block and shiseido facial wash and Perfect whip which is a lot cheaper n is under the same brand. I was in Hongkong recently and happened to go to a Japanese store where I bought some facial mask and green/matcha tea with roasted rice. I have yet to go to Japan.
Thank you so much ☺️☺️🙏 yes the sunblock and face wash are incredible aren’t they! Wonderful that you managed to get some Japanese products in Hong Kong! I love matcha tea and roasted rice tea too and have to drink a cup of matcha everyday :) you will have to make a trip to Japan at some point, I’m sure you’ll love it 😊😊
Hello :) It is the "Zeria viewclear vitacontact". The packaging is in Japanese but if you do a image google search you will be able to see how the packaging is like. You can also take a screenshot of my video and show it to the sales person. Hope this helps.
In my last visit to Japan....I bought nail clippers as well!! Bought it as a souvenir as I heard japanese nail clippers are good 😁 another item that I bought is umbrella....but of course not in d pharmacy 😆😆 d foldable n non foldable
Hahaha yes their nail clippers are so good! My friend told me about buying umbrellas too, that’s probably what I’ll buy when I next visit Japan :) thank you for sharing!! 🤗🤗
i also want to add that they got a lot of good pain relief patches! they got the OG salonpas one (there are a lot of hisamitsu's patches that are only sold in japan) to more of gel type that doesn't hurt your skin when taken off. i like the one from LION (can't remember the name) but it has both cold/hot patches and the hot one is nice for period cramps. roihi-tsuboko one is also popular but it can be easily purchased outside japan. i will be visiting japan after 7 years this oct so pretty excited to stock up my jp pain relief patches 😂
Wow thank you thank you for this recommendation! I love these type of things :) let me get some in my next trip to Japan! Enjoy your trip this coming October! ☺️☺️🥰
Heya! I talked about collagen in my second drugstore video - link can be found in the description box, alternatively it is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ckefvr4ZQ9I.html
I've been following your videos on what to buy from Japan. I'm actually now in Tokyo LOL. Do you have a face gadget to recommend - something like home facial that helps the serum to penetrate deeper?
Hi there! Hope you’re enjoying Tokyo. I use the refa roller from Japan and a guasha (actually talking about these in my video which is going live tonight!). I also use my current body led mask sometimes.
For the nail clippers, I did have one made from Japan, and I’ve used it for more than 10 years and it still works much better than other nail clippers I have tried. lolll.
This was an excellent tip that makes sense and I maybe wouldn't think of it. When I travel there, I'll look for all the small items that may not be obvious to buy at first.
Very informative vlog!! I go to drugstores in Japan everytime I visit normally to buy bottled water and some patches under the feet since I get tired from walking but didn't know this affordable products until now. Thank you!😊
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing about the feet patches! I will definitely try it the next time 😊😊 hope you manage to check out some of these products the next time you visit Japan! 🤗🤗
I've always loved anything Japan including stuff from their pharmacy. But! watching your videos and getting specific recommendations make me more excited to go back and just shop in their pharmacies. Thank you so much!!!

so glad I stumbled across this video cause I will be going to japan for the first time and am looking to stock up on japanese products! would you mind telling me the names of the drug stores found in japan? or I guess the ones you frequent the most? thanks!
So glad to hear! The most popular one is Matsumoto kiyoshi (the logo is yellow and blue in colour) they are all over Japan and can be easily found. There are lots of drugstores and they are all very similar! I hope that you manage to find lots of Japanese goodies :) enjoy your trip to Japan, wishing you a fantastic time! 🤗😊
Thank you for sharing these products. With the three face cleansers you talked about, do you have a schedule you follow when using all three products? Is there one you use daytime , evening? Thanks.
Thanks for your question it's a good one! For the exfoliator (on dry skin), I use it once a week. (not for daily as it might be too harsh!). For the whip cream cleanser, I use it for my day and night cleansing. For the travel capsules, I use it when I am travelling and do not want to check any liquids, and use them in place as my day and night cleanser.
thank you 😊… One more question actually I am from others country .. but i live in japan and I have deep suntan. Now I need to remove but I don’t know which shop sell or which products for de tan in japan.. if you know please repley 😇
Thank you for your question! Unfortunately I have not looked into whitening creams so I do not have anything to recommend but I’m sure you can ask at the pharmacies.
Thank you for this! I'm going to Japan in a month and I've been on the hunt for the best items to buy 😂 As an oily skinned gal, which among the Melano CC and Rice mask is better for us?
If you have oily skin, I feel that most masks from Japan will suit you unless you go for the anti-wrinkle anti-again type which are meant for very mature skin. Also do try their primers and sunscreen. They are perfect for oily skin. I have oily skin myself 😊
I bought those nail clippers. Small and Large size. I just love them. The rossete exfoliator is also great! For the eye drops, the lady in the drugstore recommended the Santen 12 instead. God they are absolutely fabulous!
I am new to your channel. My daughter recently went to Japan and brought some of the drug store products that you recommend. The problem is where can we get some more if we like the products. Do you know if we order the items through the store in US the quality would be the same? Or do you have any trusted websites that we can buy it on line and get Japan quality. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much, I hope your daughter had a wonderful time in Japan. 😊 It really depends on the product, you can find some of them on Amazon although there is definitely a mark up vs Japan prices. I would also make sure that the source of the products are from Japan as sometimes there might be counterfeits. Hope this helps 🙏
Where do you buy your products when you are out of certain items? Do you know any Japan cosmetic store here in US that carries drugs stores or luxury Japan products? I know there are quite a few korean cosmetic store here but I can't find one that carries Japanese products.
I always stock up a few items for the products that I cannot do without to make sure I have enough. I’m sorry but I am not familiar on which sites stock genuine Japanese products in the US!
I am just new to your channel and this is the first vlog i have watched so far .. i find it so interesting and i stick watching up to the very end. It’s so informative, explained to the max , and the captions made even better. Thank you for tips , I truly appreciates it! I surely be watching your previous vlogs in the days ahead . Thank you , I enjoyed every bit of it .👏👏👏👏😍
Thank you so much Lynn, it really made my day reading your comment 😊😊 thank you for watching! hope to be able to bring more great and useful content to you all and hope you will enjoy watching them! 🤗🤗

Hi Ann it’s the zeria viewclear vitacontact. The packaging is in Japanese but if you put this type this and do a image Google search you’ll be able to see how it looks like. Enjoy your trip to Japan!
Matsumoto Kiyoshi is the one that is most popular and most commonly seen. This is the one that I usually visit. However there are other drugstores as well which are just as good and sell similar products.
I am in Fukuoka now and I am trying to find one of the vintage stores you mentioned as they were supposed to open a store here. Well, I am supposed to visit other cities, I hope to have better luck! Thanks for all your tips.
Hi there! Are you looking for the secondhand handbag stores or the secondhand clothing stores? I haven’t tried fukuoka, so am not familiar with the shopping scene there. I hope you find what you’re looking for when you visit the other cities! ☺️☺️ have a lovely holiday!
@@gorillasinheels Hello, thanks for replying. Yes, I went to the Hedy Daikanyama website and it says that they were opening a store here in Fukuoka. However, I didn’t find anything
@@casalist5426 maybe they have yet to open their store in fukuoka. You may want to email them to ask if you’re still there. Hopefully you’ll find other stores in your travels ☺️🙏
@@gorillasinheels There’s a typhoon coming! Most things are closed and my husband’s swimming competition may be cancelled. It’s almost a nightmare. I want to keep a positive outlook.
Thanks Roxanne! I love Chanel’s natural finish loose powder which I have been using for the last 12 years and IT cosmetics bye bye pores translucent loose setting powder. ☺️☺️
@@gorillasinheels Thanks so much. I appreciate your immediate reply. i don't usually subscribe to a channel but i'm making this an exception because of how sincere and honest your reviews are. More power to you.
Thank you for your kind words 😊😊 hope I’ll be able to make more useful content, and looking forward to seeing you around here! Have a lovely weekend ahead 😊
I’m heading to Japan in a couple of weeks and wanted to get some good sunscreen (since the stuff in the US just isn’t as good). This video was perfect & I can’t wait to try!!
Going to Japan for the first time soon. The list is helpful of what to get in Japan (beside food and snack). May I know how to claim the tax rebate (tax free price) in Japan? Just show the cashier your passport? Or need to claim it elsewhere? Thanks in advance.
Hello :) for Japan, the wonderful part is that you pay the tax free price upon showing your passport. You do not have to claim separately. Enjoy your trip to Japan and a great time! Looking forward to hearing about your drugstore loot 😊😊
I loved everything you showcased here (except for those ridiculous 'anti-social-face-curtain-security blankets' known as face masks-- I'm passionately against normalising them). I'm going to Japan later this year so you reminded me of some real gems I need to stock up on. Thank you!
@@gorillasinheels I discovered a limited edition hair oil by Uka called 'Glamorous Windy Lady'. Amusing name (evoking high society flatulence, rather unintentionally I'm guessing) but it smells gorgeous-- oh and it was 24 quid at Isetan's Narita Airport concession as opposed to 40 quid on Space NK's website (or wherever it was that I saw it here in England). So many things are just a little cheaper in Japan and if you're doing a lot of stocking up, these savings certainly tally up. Wahey! I love your channel. Such fun, so inspiring.
@@gorillasinheels Ooh, Akihabara Duty Free concession at Narita Airport had these unbelievable Nikon compact binoculars for the equivalent of 155 GBP. We didn't buy them as binoculars was not something even remotely on our shopping list, but upon my return to London I did a quick UK google shop search and found that Selfridges sell this model too...for 499 pounds. Some things really ARE much more affordable in Japan. Also fuel is cheaper than in the UK and our hire care in Ishigaki Island was only 30 pounds A DAY, including all the full insurance cover. UNREAL. Anyhow, bye and I love your channel!!
Thank you for sharing!! I just saw this comment, sorry for the delay in reply. Ahhh yes Japan is heaven when it comes to electronics. Nikon is a Japanese brand after all! I also think the weakening yen has made prices in Japan more attractive for tourists. 😊😊
