I'm going to Japan in three weeks.. three weeks!! I can't believe it! It's going to be an absolute dream to visit the country I've been relentlessly fascinated with for most of my life. I have a friend who when we were growing up her dad would go to Japan a lot for business and he would always bring home so many awesome sweets and treats! Also soooo jealous you got to go to the studio ghibli museum! I have always wanted to go there so badly! So amazing to see you out here living your best life

Hi Jamie, I love your videos so much! I really loved all the things you showed, they're all so cute and nostalgic! (I was born in Japan and lived there until I was 10!) I just wanted to say, and this is no criticism at all I just want you to know, that Ghibli is actually not pronounced with a hard G, in Japanese, its pronounced ji-bu-li, or saying jib-lee might be easier but I just wanted you to know because I'm sure that you're a huge fan and it's a very commonly made mistake :)
Thank you. It bugs me when people mispronounce words and don't try to learn the proper way of saying it and others think that's the way to say it and just continue making it worse. Hardly anyone outside of Japan pronounces My Neighbor Totoro correctly
I am really lucky because where I live (Cairns, Australia) we have a really strong Japanese connection so we have a Daiso store at our local shops, and oh my gosh! I went in today and bought those cute moulds, thank you so much for sharing this with us Jamie! :)
I love Daiso. You can find a bunch in the west coast of the U.S. (Seattle, WA, All over California, and some places in Texas-mostly near Dallas). I stock up everytime I visit. I always find the best stuff.

Japan looks so lovely. After seeing this it’s definitely on my list of places to go. The Pokémon cafe looks so fun! Love all the figurines. I would have to bring an empty suitcase just to put all my souvenirs in 😂
My favorite thing is the Ghibli movie ticket! It's so unique for a display or a scrapbook - also, I can see the mickey sandwich cutter potentially used in a mom vlog video :P

Daiso has really cute stuff compared to dollar stores in the U.S. and I wish they were more common internationally. I'm a sucker for cutesy stuff like they offer. I just want all of the easily accessible, affordable, and cute stationery!!
