Looks a bit like my snow shoeing trip in Yosemite National Park back in March. Although we didn't get that much snow this year. :) We're in a bit of a drought again.

Amazing! It's like some strange alien landscape at night. Great seeing you back and most of all well rested. Is the snow pretty well-packed on those trees? I must admit to being just a little worried that the snow would fall from that tree when you were sitting in the doorway of that 'house'. :-\

cool video and glad to have you and your bright smile back :) just one thing I noticed in the description: you say the "real Japan" is outside the big cities, but makes this places like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Yokohama then "unreal Japan"..? I',m very sure that those big cities are also real Japan - of course there is some more western influence here and there, but that doesnt make them "unreal Japan". I really like the fact that you not only show the big famous places in the big cities, but also beautiful spots in more rural and not so well known places, but I would consider using a different word than "real/unreal" (to be honest I dont have a better suggestion myself yet though)

Some of these images look quite similar to Norway in winter. Any "snow monsters" here would be from pine trees rather than bamboo, though. Very nice drone footage, by the way. :)
