Changli is a mommy character done right. She’s mature, graceful and humble. Everything you should expect out of a mentor. So many mommy characters in mainstream look like the type to beat your ass and frankly, I’m sick of it. Changli is someone I’d genuinely want to be around and be friends with.

Not only was Calcharo’s appearance in the story cut from release, he and Verina didn’t even get pre-release trailers. His gameplay underperforming compared to beta combined with the reveal of Xiangli Yao was probably what caused his popularity to drop, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it drop even more until he gets a companion quest. A shame, because Electro Sephiroth was one of the things that got me interested in trying out WuWa in the first place.

companion quest are structured to have ties to main story, so we can only expect the ones missing to be tied in later. No point stressing out on it, especially for CCR, Mortefi and XLY due to region introduction and future story.

Danjin is as high as she is probably has to do with her gameplay.... and she's cute.

other could maybe be referring to characters we've seen but have yet to become playable such as geshu lin, phrolova, scar and camellya. idk for sure how popular they are in japan but as far as global popularity characters like camellya, geshu lin and scar are usually pretty well loved.

kind of suprised that Verina is that low, i thought people would be a lil biased because she is like the only good support and a good design. Also not suprised to see changli nr1 with how insanely good her companion quest is, i had constant chills and tears

Of course its changli. Peak gameplay , peak visual, and if you build her well + S6 you will have the best dps (yes i have S6R5 changli n jinhsi)

I love Chixia. I think she's the only one who has an interesting reason for glazing over Rover cause of what triggered her obsession with heroes of justice. Thank god she's not Emiya levels of obsess though

Chixia is one of my favorite characters, I don't like her JP voice but her EN voice is great

Calcharo companion story quest, i think at this point in the story still not make sense for him to appear yet, maybe we will see him when blackshore come since he is acquaintance with Aalto according to his voicelines. At least it's better than forcing character into the story where it becomes awkward like Yuanwu who came out of nowhere during act V, he's my favorite but man that was really awkward.

Yinlin is my fave for sure. I've always had a thing for slender redheads and electrical type powers. Give her those awesome animations (I never get tired of sitting down during her Forte) and it's like they invaded my brain to get the design for her. So, shall we settle this like gentlemen? Pistols at dawn? xD I'm with you on Jianxin, too. I'm still struggling to get her echoes how I want them (so many bell turtles killed...never mind trying to find 3 cost echoes with primary ATK%), but she's the lynchpin in my Changli/Chixia team. The three of them together are devastating.

Verina is so low imo because her drip sucks, even some 4 stars look better than her. Yinlin was top, but honestly her quest sucked, and that kind of ruined her for me, I really wish I could forget it, so she remained this mysterious Sparkle/Black Swan type. My favorite 4 stars are Baizhi tied with Taoqi, and hope they would revamp them as 5 star. Favorite Standard 5 star is Encore (Originally was Camaro, but how he plays just bumped him down for me). Limited I really like all of them, but I agree on the top 3 (thought 3rd was Rover), Changli is sexy and awesome, Jinhsi feels so strong and stoic without being boring, great quest for both, and female Rover is just bae.

Tbf, parrying with Yuanwu is so satisfying and his basic attack animation (esp the kick) is hella sick, he just doesn't have a lot of exposure so maybe that's why people don't really get attached to him esp when Yinlin exists which is well a better subdps with a fanservicey companion quest and is a waifu 😅.

Calcharo videos on yt have pretty high views and there is a solid fanbase Calcharo peak gameplay has the highst skill requirement in the game U need to learn a lot cancels, timing and swaps. Some ppl love that skill ceiling and thats why he have a quite big fanbase I think kuro did him right (except that dodges dont give stacks, thats a crime) because he is for the tryhards and there comparisons of skillful player who showed that yao isnt stronger, hes just a lot easier Yao super cool tho, love him
