Aye Smigol, I watched your video about the most broken/over powered aircrafts in game once and I saw the J2M3 and how low of a BR it was so I had to start grinding the Japanese Tree. Just unlocked it. Godspeed Gentleman.
@@Ziiphyr even at 5.7 the J2M3 is absolutely cracked, I'm not that great of a player and I have no issues wiping the floor with the enemy team in that thing. it's actually insane
This thing is necessary for dealing with all of the XP-50 tryhards who will never ever engage anything unless it's stalling beneath them and will otherwise just climb off to space. Until they fix XP-50 being literally untouchable when it uses MEC and flies correctly, I will spam the J2M2 to my heart's content, shredding every one of these, selfish, toxic, game-ruining cloud-huffers.
I still don’t know how to counter XP-50s in my zeros lol 😂 Best I can do is hit the deck and wait for them to get greedy. If we have a space climber I’m out of luck. In a sense those pilots are fulfilling their roles. And it’s smart, why fight at any disadvantage if you can afford it. But it’s just no fun to flay against 😂 The worst are when it’s a 1v1 at the end of the match and they refuse to come down. Just a waste of time. Most annoying players right behind airfield campers
No way someone is dying to a J2M in a P51H. No no no way. I Ben if your new, the P51H is the best prop in the entire game. If you lose to a J2M in a 51H then that’s just wild.

The J2M is one of he most fun props in the game to fly. Another really broken plane you should try is the Pyörremyrsky. The nose-mounted 20mm the 50cals make it such a deadly plane and its turn and climb rate are also really good just like the J2M.
that thing isn't op at 4.3, it's basically just a bf109 f-4 but compresses hard at 400mph and has slightly better guns, it's a good plane but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near the j2m
Man, after YEARS of complaining about japanese cannons doing absolute no damage, seeing them now working as CANNONS is super super suuuuper satisfying. I love to see them work
I wouldn’t remove the airfield AA, because it protects the players who genuinely need to land for repairs and ammo. What I would do is to set a time limit and a minimum range beyond what the AA can reach, and to kick any players who stay within that minimum distance for more than the time limit. It stops airfield camping without stripping protections from the players who still need them.
There's a similar situation with the Ki-84 @ 5.0. It is the same plane as the one @ 6.0, the only difference being it has x2 .50 cals instead of x2 30mms. But those .50s SHRED with air belts, they hit harder than the 30mms on the 6.0 plane!
My favorite J2M is probably the premium with 2 30mms. It still flys just as well as the tree variants but the 30s just rip through things as long as you can aim. Also teaches you ammo conservation which is important in things like the Kikka and Ki-200.
7:31 not necessarily remove, but maybe one could make it so that the enemies are getting lesser points when having a person on their airfield/ no points if all people are landing + remove the random ticket drain
I think this J2M is a good counter to the 109 F-4, G-2, and G-6. Japan at this BR is usually with America so it works out. I think 4.7 would a good spot for it
6:00 you can report that player as hanging around your airfield for the sole purpose of getting the airfield to kill players is actually against the TOS
Airfield AA honetly needs to change. Personally rather see Airfield AA giving distant cannon warning shots, before you get some smaller arms warning shots then just outright AA of 20mm's, 37mm;s or whatever would be the standard. Rather than hitscan AA.

one way that they could prevent people from af camping is by having a zone around the af and have it so your forced out of you aircraft if you are flying in the zone for more that 2-3 min.

There's three nations in this game that I can play when I just want to shut my brain completely off: Britain, USSR and Japan. But Japan is by far the easiest. I haven't played a single japanese plane that requires even half as much effort as an Fw-190 or a P-51... Edit: could help but say "Die, you piece of trash!" out loud when you killed the BV-155. That kind of player deserves every punishment possible in War Thunder...
It has basically a6m5 turn and ki-44 engine performance, it gets the best of both worlds, however just like any plane it has its downsides, it lacks ammo capacity and gun power imo, I find myself sometimes struggling a bit trying to kill an enemy and all it says is "hit" or "critical hit" so theres that.
That BV155... man, immagine buying yourselves a premium low tier bully plane like that and then procede to camp the air field with it this blatantly, what immense of a coward do you have to be

they should Make it so airfield AA doesn't work as long as friendly Planes are in the air. that way they actually have to touch down to get protection but they have to be slow and easy to kill with no protection first.
Not really, most people like to give the J2M the credit but usually because people don't play Japan enough to actually know the pros and cons of all the beautiful fighters. If you ask me either Ki 61 or Ki 44 takes the cake.
I accentally spent all my eagles researching this plane back when it came out after I just double clicked after a battle trying to x out of the tab.... I don't regret it tho
Most of Japan is under tiered. Of course the Japanese mains will defend their BR’s and say “They are over tiered” and that simply isn’t true. Japan is broken af, and there is ver little U.S. props can do against them. Especially the J2M’s
It repairs in 12 hours 36 minutes or 2226 SL. But it's 4.3 and only rank II. If I must get rank II kills, I can use a 2.7 French A-35B. It repairs in 8 hours 27 minutes or 2237 SL.
Is that the european server (the only i cant play on because its to far away from japan with 300ms ping)? Where do you find braindead enemy teams like this, never seen this on SE or US.
First two games with a 9 K and an 8 K?!?!!? That's absurd. Yes the J2M2 is insane, but you need QUITE a lot of luck to pull that off repeatedly. That first game was a perfect showcase of the J2M2, though. Everyone below, and you have both the engine power and turn-rate to capitalise.
That Ki44 is not me but I sometimes lose sight of my target when turning LOL it's like real life G-Loc but it's a game haha Just saying tho.. he might of just gave up
Ay man you should try the swedish lansen/j32. 4 30mm with basically identical burst mass to the a10, great roll/turn rate and has a pretty nice radar at 9.3.

Play in a squad or hope your team communicates, if you get three people to dive on the af from 4000m you can sweep up everyone on the af For top tier af camping you just need to fly tree top level at mach 1 then you only need to pull slightly to evade the missiles
