I love the small tasting compartments. Just a bite of each, so you can try many things, without jamming it all together on a plate, and getting it mixed up. And the unlimited time, because I'm an incredibly slow eater-- I love to really appreciate my food! As always, a wonderful vid!
Tim, you are one of the KINDEST people. Your videos are such a joy to watch - interesting places, great food and the people who make that all happen. Thank you for highlighting them.
I like how Tim can be absolutely kind and amiable, such as toward restaurant staff, and then how he can be absolutely brutal such as toward the okra (“good riddance”) at 17:54 and the sweet potato dessert thing at 22:27 (shaking his head and emphatically saying “no”) hahaa
Crane of paper 😂😂 Tim Lee, you are a joy to watch. I appreciate that you show us everything on the buffets, even if you don't choose the items, and your constant courtesy and honesty of expression is heartwarming. Thank you for taking us along, and I wish you well.
Japan here I come ! Thank you Tim for sharing your experiences with us especially with people who have not travelled and would love to travel to the places you have been. You are so polite, friendly , patient, kind…. and all the great qualities which have not gone unnoticed. Yay to your food and travel vlogs which I truly appreciate. Mahalo 👍🏼.
Finally, a buffet without a time limit in Japan! I'm a slow eater, so I don't think I would be able to handle the one you went to with the 70 minute time limit. 😊 I hope you will share a video from your ferry ride. I've seen others, and the buffets they offer look really good.
It was quite a nice experience. I found that not having a large tray of food means that the plated dishes can have multiple components like an a la carte order. 😋
A nice buffet with no time limit. All those small dishes of food are wonderful. And a seafood pizza with shrimps and scallops is different. Nice desserts in small dishes too.
Thanks Min... It was quite a nice experience and I actually appreciated the little dishes over a large tray of food. Everything was very well put together 😋
I actually ended up preferring the little dishes as well. Each one was quite nice as it's not just one type of food, they put quite a few items per dish that tastes great together 😋
I love that I can live life through your eyes ! Thank you so much for the traveling and amazing eats n sights ❤ ( I will never forget your favorite salad lol)
I always enjoy your videos Tim, you are so kind and well mannered, your videos are enjoyable to watch because of your kindness. There needs to be more people like you in this world. The food as always looks immaculate there in Japan.
Thank you Tim for always taking us on your journey. I adore your content as you are such a respectful Genuinely nice person wherever you go and how you treat servers. Shows us the beautiful heart and nature you have. Bless you❤❤
Hi Tim...another great buffet...this buffet was so pristine and beautiful...all the food was beautifully prepared...safe travels and God Bless...have fun on your boat ride 😊...😘🤗❤
Tim, that was a nice buffet. Too bad you had to rush to catch the ferry. I hope you return there some day so you can really relax to enjoy your meal. I spend lots of time chewing my food to savor it so this place is a winner! Looking forward to your ferry ride video. 🤗❤️😘
The food looked yummy!! And the no time limit is even better!! 🤣🤣 I think that I would prefer this buffet to the other ones as I like to take my time to eat and enjoy the food! Thank you Tim!! 🤓🤓
Congratulations on 100k!! This place looked very relaxed and the food looked yummy! Congrats again! I think I started watching you when you barely had 3k.Glad that I stuck around 😊
Very reasonably priced and the selection is great. I always think of Japan as being very expensive, but this is an incredible buffet for 35.00. And nice that you can relax and eat slowly.
What a nice buffet, everything looks fresh and delicious and the price is so reasonable. As a single person I liked your seat, it was private and had a pretty view of outside. And the best part was----no time limit, you didn't feel under the gun and have to go like crazy to eat, so much better for the digestion.
There was a sense of privacy at those tables, and they also have private rooms where large parties can eat together. Very enjoyable and appreciate being able to take the time to enjoy the food 😋
I don't usually like watching people eat but you are great. I'm trying to think if I've ever had a Japanese buffet. I've had all-you-can-eat, where you order from a list. I've also had sushi off a conveyor belt "river". There used to be one on Davie St in Vancouver but it's closed down. Also used to be one in Coquitlam and in Metrotown called Sui Sha Ya (?). Both gone now too. I miss them. My Dad took my kids and me to the one downtown and it was so much fun for the kids. My Dad asked the chef for my daughter's favourite, ikura, but every time it came around someone else would grab it! The chef finally just handed it to her.
Congrats on reaching 100K...well deserved. I've noticed that you have been traveling more now, will you be traveling and vlogging full time in the near future?
Japanese foods really interest me to visit there some day and would really enjoy my day there ,its life and people and overall feeling its way of life .
I was supposed to visit Japan this Christmas but ill health has postponed it until Christmas 2024. I'd love this place! I'm still catching up on videos I've missed over the past few months, but let me say that you're enjoyable to watch; no airs, just down to earth. If you ever visit authentic Chinese restaurants in Toronto, I'd love to tag along with you. I used to go every week when I lived there. My last visit to Toronto had me perplexed because my favourite restaurants had all disappeared 😢
I hope you’re keeping well and glad to hear you’re going to visit Japan a little later. Yeah, it is unfortunate that a lot of restaurants that close down, but it’s nice to see things picking up again.😀
My wife and I have been to Japan 20+ times in the last 15 years and have not had a buffet (other than at our hotels) but after watching your video it is time to try one.
@@TimLeeLetsGo First time I went was by myself back in college and have traveled up and down Japan extensively with my wife/family during cherry blossom season. We’ve also been to most of the major summer firework festivals several times. When it comes to choosing where to spend our hard earn dollars, Japan/Asia is our #1 choice.
That looks like burgundy wine. I would love a glass of that right now. The food looks beautiful. I'd have taken more little containers of that beef. (Also, I like okra, especially in gumbo.)
This looks wonderful - I love tempura so much! I can make it - just cant get the dipping sauce here! So annoying. Keep up the great work Tim. I watch your videos before I go to bed as they give me 'happy mind' - after all the upsetting youtube videos I watch in the night! Thank you xxxx
Love your videos! My bestie and I watch them the second they come out ❤ Next time you’re in Vegas, could you do the breakfast buffet at the M resort? The one at the steak house. It’s reservation only, but apparently amazing!
@@TimLeeLetsGo We’re always happy to see anything you post. Congrats on 100K! Been a viewer for about a year & just adore your content Tim. Oh, fair warning on the buffet: It’s Sunday morning only. Again, congratulations on all of your very well deserved success!
Nice to see you found a buffet that did not rush you. Everything looked so pretty. I really enjoy that when you do not like something you say so. I like okra but only in soups, it cooks down and is like green beans. I really don't like green bell peppers. Not fond of shellfish. Enjoy your ferry trip. Best wishes from Corvallis Oregon.
Thank you so much.. yeah, okra has an interesting texture that I haven't been accustomed to. My good friend Albert can't stand green peppers either.. we bug him about that 😉
TFS this elegant buffet Tim. I will definitely try this buffet, what a coincidence planning to do Sapporo, the varieties are good for the value of price and relaxing no time limit. Love all dishes shown, really good varieties...👏excellent find👍😄 Enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan. I would eat a few more of those steaks n tempura, btw okra is popular veges for them..😅
Such a shame that you had a time limit on this unlimited time buffet. Is your favorite veggie potatoes? Every time I watch your videos you get hungry. I agree with another viewer that I would like to see the ferry ride experience. Thank you for sharing!
