4:48 - There's a SF story about robots that complain that their effectiveness is limited by being forced to exist in humanoid forms. The change in form was called, IIRC, usaform, and led to robots being designed around the tasks that they were built to perform.

Robots with feet instead of wheels is a waste of time to make. There is new robots out, and they can walk and roll around on wheels. Also, with the right leg movement, a bot on wheels can cost much faster, and with far less power, then it takes a walking robot to take a few steps. I can't see anything belong to JAPAN in your video. XPENG is CHINA brand.FRAUNHOFER is Germany brand.DOOSAN is KOREA brand.You can't say all you see in the Mobility show that's belong to JAPAN.:) You should correct the title.

It could be, and there are prototypes already at MIT. One of profesors there even got lower part of leg with sensors, that when touched feels like real body party (in some points). Also some engineers are working on very light exoskeletons, so paraplegics could walk again (even if still paralyz from waist down).

i think humanoid robots will take over all these wonderful designs; mainly because humans are more comfortable with them. but i think some of the dynamics will be worked into humanoids rendering them more effective. like transformers.
