Fujizuka is a small mound of Mount Fuji built based on the belief in Fuji.
It is a small Mt. Fuji that often expresses the rugged lava surface of the mountain.
It is said that climbing it will bring the same benefits as climbing Mount Fuji.
The Fujizuka, with hydrangeas in full bloom, is scheduled to be open to the public for the first time in a long time at the Bunkyo Hydrangea Festival in 2024.
The Fujizuka at Ono Terasaki Shrine can be climbed only on June 30th and July 1st every year.
I have also compiled a list of the Fujizuka I have visited recently, so I hope this will be helpful when you go out.
