Some clarification Yoshinoya, Matsuya and Sukiya all have other breakfast options. What we are rating here is only their respective signature standard beef bowls that are part of their breakfast set deals. Ultimate aim for this video is to provide knowledge, especially for first time travelers to Japan and even seasoned travelers, thinking what to eat for breakfast. Those deals right there are even better than Japan convenience stores. A secret... 🤫 So which is your favorite? Would love to hear from you in the Comments below.
Sukiya is my favorite. Last time in japan, I'd get a big gyudon for breakfast in the morning all the time from them!! They are superior to the rest in my opinion. Need them to come to America!!! Okra and egg as a side are delicious.
Yoshinoya is my first choice because it is open. 24/7 with the heartiest grilled salmon, miso, salad, and small bowl of beef gyudon plus a small bowl of rice. I can eat that every day :) with the price of 4 USD.
I prefer chikara meshi chain restaurant since they're the only one that has set menu with abura soba/maze soba with their gyudon, sadly they dont have that many branches in japan
I think if you're going for cost effectiveness, it's gotta be Matsuya. I would imagine the difference between the rice quantity isn't really THAT much, but more is more. Personally, I would go for Sukiya since I prefer ladyfingers or okra over shredded cabbage. The first time I had shredded cabbage in Japan felt strange to me, and I could never get over it. Okra for the win!! That and I really like miso soup as well. You think Matsuya has a mix of red and white miso?
Yup! Those ladyfingers were very well prepared by Sukiya, crunchy on the outside and the signature soft interior were very well maintained, yummay! For miso soup at Matsuya, yea it could be a combination of red and white miso, certainly tasted like one. Probably a variation of Awase miso soup. 👍
@@yuletak Takes me back man, I still recall watching Tony Hawk landed the first ever 900 at the X-Games on TV haha... If the rates persist, I will be able to recommend more awesome food in Japan, many are already in the pipeline
Danke für die vielen Infos. Brauchen wir für unseren (2.) Besuch im September 24! Weiter so, und noch viele Abonnenten! たくさんの情報をありがとう。 9月24日の(2度目の)訪問のために必要です! これからも頑張ってください!
I really love the part where Yoshinoya has the option of how much gravy, you would like to add to your bowl. Really opens up how much the bowl, could suit your preference for that particular day
