I'm looking at renting a sports car from Toyota in September, the place I'm looking at only has the 86 available, even better. Suzuka looked fun even in the rain! I'm going to 6hrs of Fuji.

Was in Japan last week, what a shame I don’t have a international permit. Really want to drive the Yaris, glad you did

The permit is pretty cheap and simple, I just needed a passport-style photo. If/when you go back, its worth looking into!

Your trip looked really fun! Especially getting drive around using the GR Yaris as well. This has got to be the RS version of the GR Yaris given that it isn't the AWD right? Hopefully, we get to rent a GR Yaris as well when we visit sometime November this year!

It's probably the RS but the paperwork didn't specify, see if you can find the AWD or call and confirm. You'll have a great time, driving in Japan is a treat no matter what JDM car. I'm sure you'll have a fun trip too!
