Naritasan Shinshoji Temple is a popular hatsumode spot nationwide, and many people visit especially during the year-end and New Year holidays. The approximately 800-meter Omotesando leading from JR Narita Station to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple prospered as a temple town since the Edo period, and still retains the vestiges of those days.
It's about an hour by train from Tokyo and about 10 minutes by train from Narita Airport, so it's also recommended for a day trip.
More than 150 restaurants and souvenir shops line the approach to the shrine.
Let's enjoy plenty of gourmet food, such as our proud eel dishes and souvenir selection!
