🌸 Most of my time in Japan has been spent in Tokyo because thats where I’ve lived and worked; however, today I’m spending 1 full day in Kyoto, Japan AND in a new way!
⛩️ This is actually my 3rd time in Kyoto, Japan, but this time I'm spending it at a Japanese Machiya, which is a traditional style accommodation in Kyoto. In addition to this, I'll also be showing you where to go & what to do
I’m always looking for new ways to experience Japan in a cultural and authentic way, so stay tuned to see more adventures in Japan… as well as other places around the world!

Your vlogs are so informative. Thanks for another great video Alley! Also that intro was definitely a vibe. That view to the outside was what sold it.

Hey Alley, what the lady at Kiyomizudera was trying tell you was that you are not supposed to blow the flame on the incense. You’re supposed to fan it with the other hand or shake it, but not blow it out with breath. Video was great though, I enjoyed it. Coming here from your insta.

Did you get used to natto? My Japanese friends told me how great it is for you. No matter how hard I tried I could not get used to it. With mustard, without with shoyu. Not for me. 😅

I wonder if you knew how to use a Japanese bathtub. Just press one button and it will fill the bath automatically with the desired temperature.
