I remember when the game came out, probably even before, where people wanted it to not show what control scheme you were using because of people hating on Modern players so much. It would be so annoying not knowing that info online and then losing because you don't realize they can do instant supers, DPs, or whatever else.

I like the sounds you set on whiffs. 😂 Modern controls: unless hitboxes are banned, I’m good with modern controls. Hitbox players get control advantage without damage reduction. How many times I saw classic players reacting with supers to fireballs, I don’t think it’s much of a problem.

Actually makes me feel kinda better about using modern controls, I've been trying to learn classic but I just cannot do 3 inputs back to back for combos.

i just got street fighter 6 and it feels a lot better for me since I'm newer and not used to classic controls. But is modern really worth it for characters like juri if it's easier for me or no?

Granblue is a fg with modern controls done right. The fact that some characters are bad on modern and playing a 6 button fg on a 4 button pad feels like ass makes sf6 really hard to enjoy

Ive played classic for years. Tried learning modern and found out I love it. Other than some buttons missing, it's just a much better fit for me for consistency and hit confirming.

Modern is really necessary for newer people. I think SF6 did a great job with lowering the skill floor for the casual player.

I was a fan of mk11 and felt like I could hit my specials just fine, can also hit specials easily in mk1, I also do fine I’m guilty gear. I think sf6 what overwhelmed me was the 3 punches and 3 kicks, that’s why I swapped to modern. On top of that, as a pot head dad, when I do play I like to swap up characters, so this lets me just get straight into ranked, I get my free three combos, easy specials and focus on having fun and just getting better in general. I’m a Dhalsim main on top of that 😂 apparently bottom of the tier list for modern controls. But I got to gold, I’m happy with that and still chugging! Excited to dive into tekken 8, heard they have an assisted system.
