Sawa’s rare mistake lead to Swedish goal. But she recovered to score winning goal. What a captain, legend of Japanese game. Kawasumi’s screamer sealed game early. After her goal, Swedish player generally gave up. Nadeshiko started to keep ball 15 min without real attacking, to save energy for final. Very mature performance.

At first i thought it was from 2023 then i saw a familiar face and knew it was old. The fact that Japan was an aerial threat to Sweden!!!! Mindbogled me the first time i saw this game. Japan is no joke.

J'adore les japonais. Que ce soit chez les hommes ou chez les femmes, petit à petit ils arrivent au meilleur niveau. Ils seront champions du monde et peut-être cette année avec les féminines. En tout cas, ils sont toujours un exemple de persévérance, de bon esprit et de fairplay.

Sometimes I feel so glad that Hedvig Lindahl is no longer on goal for Sweden. Her goalkeeping in this match was awful. Hopefully Musovic does better and Sweden gets through. It's going to be a great match!
