Come shopping with me in Tokyo at 2nd Street, Amore, Casanova, and more! It's my first time shopping for a vintage designer bag, so I wanted to share the prices and shops in case you're also shopping in Japan. Honestly, the vintage stores I have ever visited and had a selection of archival Chanel, LV, Saint Laurent, Dior, Prada, and Hermes (birken) bags! Plus you can't complain about the tax free shopping as a tourist!

Second-hand shopping in Tokyo:
Japan is one of the best places to go for vintage and second-hand shopping. We started shopping in the fashion capital of Japan, Tokyo. The shops are clean, and organized, and often offer designer bags in amazing condition. Neighborhoods I would recommend are Ginza, Harajuku, and Shibuya. Another advantage of vintage designer shopping in Japan is that many of your purchases can be tax-free. Simply show your passport at checkout.
➖ Amore Vintage
Probably the most recommended on TikTok. They have an assortment of archival Chanel bags. I spotted LV, Dior, Chanel, YSL, and Hermes. I enjoyed this location more with only Chanel like the classic flap, boy, totes, and accessories.
➖ Komehyo
With over 30 shops across Japan and 3 locations within Tokyo in Shinjuku, Ginza, and Aoyama.
➖ Casanova Vintage
Known for retro Chanel bags, Dior saddles, and Hermes Birkin.
➖ 2nd Street by Jumble Store and Shimokitazawa
Located in the Harajuku neighborhood, there is a big selection of items.

Thanks for the video. I will say that fakes have been around for yeaaarrrrssss. I think it’s just brought to light now because of social media. I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. If it seems a lot maybe people are just more aware with educational videos on authentic vs fake versus before. I wouldn’t let fakes and replicas change my mind on purchasing a bag or not. If I like it,I will buy it. And the fakes are never the same as the real ones. If people can’t afford it and are happy with *esluxy* , to each their own. My favorite bag is the classic flap. Next is the Kelly, then birkin. I know many Filipino aunties that have replicas to all. And it doesn’t change my mind on them. If you look at the Asian community NEARLY EVERY LUXURY BRAND bag has fakes, including business affinity and trendy

People always say they buy luxury goods for quality, originality and tradition. But in reality, aren't 90% of people just buying it for the hype, prestige and ego? I'm getting much better value for money with a premium knockoff *esluxy* for a fraction of the dollars I spent.

As a stay at home mom with three Neverfulls, yes I think you are right. I love them because I can fit so much stuff in them, they are great diaper bags and park bags, and when I go to church I like to zip up the sides to keep them more organized… in my eyes it is definitely a *esluxy* bag

I have two pre-loved *hotdups* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxy* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxy* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me.

At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in H Q D U P S. I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at *esluxy* and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i.e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.

I love your channel so much and this video validates a lot of what I have been telling people-the hi low fashion issues.For me, I buy my vintage LV bags from Japan-I’ve actually spent less than what super fakes cost. Ive sent some of them to LV for Vachetta replacement and still comes in less than a new bag.A few years back my husband and I were watching *esluxy* company.Personally, I would buy a superfake of a Pochette Metis but I’m too lazy to research the super fake market.

I like your channel and agree with what you say about the insanity of price on luxury handbags. Not bragging but I can easily afford the real deal but I chose not to. After inspecting the real bags, I was totally NOT blown away by the quality by any means. Im totally ok with having *preluxz* . I'd rather with smart with my money than blowing it on luxury items. I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Because if I have the money, enjoy fashion, and the house brand etc. It’s not that I’m “bothered” by people buying dupes or fakes, but if I invest my hard earned money into that item, I wouldn’t want to buy that brand, or bag, or design and find something more than fit into my needs and wants as *preluxz* . And nothing is wrong with that.

Really, let the truth be told, any luxury good to include handags can be found outside of the authentic maker. Who cares what the next person decided to spend their money on, or the next person decided not to spend their money on. Because I see the person in line in front of me carrying a *jklux* of a style/brand that I love doesn’t stop me from purchasing the authentic bag, if I wanted it.

I bought a *condup* super fake because I was still undecided on whether I liked it enough to buy the real deal. It arrived and it was great, I didn't need to buy the original one. The attention to detail is amazing and even shows in all the packaging and labels. It does make me feel a certain way about the designers selling these bags. They were selling it for about 10 times what I paid. They are ripping people off. Hermès is the worst at this - I imagine them in the board room laughing at how much people are prepared to pay.

I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from *hotdups* for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

I have a *esluxy* bag bought in 2023, it is LV white catogram speedy. It is counter quality and now has a nice patina so the leather is real. I think as long as it makes you happy it is fine.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *preluxz* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyard’s canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas *esluxy* bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible

My first designer handbag was a Louis Vuitton Pochette metis, black with gold hardware...I loved it. Weared so many last year. I'm worried about marking light colored bags. I have a cream collage from YSL but I'm super paranoid about ruining it. I stick to the classics but there are some beautiful different styles...just not for me :) I would love Chanel but I can't justify the price increase, *condup*
